Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members on both PC and Xbox Series X have recently been given access to three day-one games. Regrettably, one of these Xbox Game Pass debut titles has turned out to be a major disappointment this year. Fortunately, the other two games are faring much better. In fact, according to feedback from Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers on Reddit, both titles have been well received. One of these games hails from EA, while the other is from Sifu developer Sloclap.
The latest EA game now available on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is titled “Lost in Random: The Eternal Die,” which serves as a follow-up to the 2021 action-adventure game, Lost in Random. As per a recent post on Reddit, the sequel has been garnering positive reviews with many calling it “amazing.” Given the buzz surrounding the post, it seems this sentiment is widely shared.
Lost in Random: The Eternal Die – Fantastic!” summarizes the post. “Having completed Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and DOOM: The Dark Ages, I found myself seeking a relaxed game to play during breaks from intense storylines. Lost in Random fits the bill perfectly – it’s a relaxing rogue-lite dungeon crawler. Just wanted to share my positive experience! I was thrilled by how consistently good Game Pass has been, and I believe anyone looking for such a game should give it a try too!
Despite being relatively unnoticed, “Lost in Random: The Eternal Die” hasn’t gone entirely unnoticed. On the other hand, the second Xbox Game Pass day-one release has certainly been noticed, as it attracted over one million players within a single day. This game, which happens to be “Rematch,” is reportedly quite addictive according to a popular post on the Xbox Game Pass Reddit forum.

It took some time to grasp the workings of Rematch, but now I can’t seem to get enough – before I realized, my entire Saturday had been consumed by this game.
I managed to make a few friends using the voice chat, quite nice. The English weather wasn’t particularly appealing, but the game was so captivating that I couldn’t stop playing it after returning to it yesterday. Initially, I didn’t find it enjoyable when I started playing on Friday, but I ended up getting hooked. I had intended to complete Expedition 33 this weekend, but instead, I’ve been stuck in a Rematch loop. The mechanics are somewhat clunky yet satisfying, if that makes sense, and they take some time to get the hang of. All in all, it’s an incredibly enjoyable game.
It seems that many Xbox Game Pass subscribers share similar views about the games offered through the service, although it’s unclear how long these specific games will remain accessible. Microsoft has yet to reveal this details.
