Shinra Goes Back in Time and Breaks Reality
In the 12th episode of Fire Force Season 3, Shinra gets knocked unconscious, but Inca manages to reach his consciousness via an Adolla Burst. Here, she convinces him to utilize his power to travel back in time and bring her along. During this excursion into the past, they uncover the shocking reality of their circumstances. When Shinra revisits the past, he finds a world free from spontaneous combustion. Through slightly blurry images in the visuals, Shinra recognizes that the people of this era are similar to our contemporary Japanese population.
Gazing at this alternate reality pushes Shinra to the edge of insanity since it twists his perception of sanity and time. Suppressed by an overwhelming sadness, Shinra has been grappling with these feelings after witnessing this transformed world. It hints that our world is a rudimentary form of the one eventually birthed in Fire Force. However, it’s later revealed that Shinra spends significantly more time in this space than what appeared during the series finale.
How Will Fire Force End?
In the thrilling conclusion to Fire Force Season 3 Part 1, Shinra awakens three months later following a prolonged unconsciousness. The fifth pillar responsible for the Great Cataclysm has already manifested during his absence, but an unexpected twist unfolds as Shinra stirs to life in an unorthodox manner. Not only is he found strapped to a bed, but his hair has been dyed blond and earrings adorn his ears. The transformation of his appearance suggests significant physical alterations since falling unconscious, leaving us intrigued about the extent and reasons behind these changes.
Regarding the final episodes of “Fire Force”, the third season of the anime has been confirmed to air in January 2026 as part of the Winter schedule, marking the second half of the series. The story will conclude after creating a new reality, but it serves as the beginning of a massive wave of chaos that will escalate before reaching its end. Fans can anticipate this exciting continuation next year.
