As an ardent gaming enthusiast, I’ve been eagerly waiting for the day when I could immerse myself in the indie sensation, Supermarket Simulator, on platforms beyond PC. That day has finally arrived with its 1.0 launch!
According to a recent announcement from Nokta Games, their highly acclaimed retail simulation game will be making its way to console platforms by the end of this year.
For beginners, Supermarket Simulator is essentially as its name suggests. In this game, you assume the role of a grocery store owner, starting small in a compact area with minimal supplies, but gradually expanding and enhancing your store in various aspects as the game progresses.
With income coming in, you can gradually add employees, increase the store size, acquire permits for selling diverse goods, and so forth. Over time, you’ll develop a bustling supermarket that appears to operate autonomously – but it’s crucial to monitor changing market trends, manage inventory levels, deal with potential theft, and other ongoing tasks.
In addition to managing the store, you could also handle deliveries for nearby residents and procure inventory from other local merchants.
