As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of gaming under my belt, I can confidently say that the prospect of a new Batman game is like hearing the Bat-Signal in the night sky. The anticipation has been palpable for years now, and it’s high time we got a fresh take on the Dark Knight.

For a long time, there’s been a significant clamor for a fresh Batman video game, and this call only intensifies as the months pass, particularly following the less-than-satisfactory release of Rocksteady Studios’ Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. However, intriguingly enough, it appears these pleas have not gone unnoticed.

According to a report from Puck News, it appears that WB Games is developing a video game tied to the 2022 movie “The Batman,” directed by Matt Reeves and featuring Robert Pattinson in the title role.

The report suggests that despite initial plans to sell Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment in 2020, it was instead considered too valuable not to keep. Now, under the leadership of David Zaslav at Warner Bros. Discovery, this division is viewed as having a strategic importance.

As a passionate fan, I’m excited to share that according to recent reports, different divisions within Warner Bros. are increasingly collaborating on properties such as the upcoming HBO series and game based on ‘Penguin’, which have roots in this year’s ‘The Batman’ movie.
