As I read through Marla Maples and Melania Trump’s stories, I can’t help but be struck by the complexities of their lives and the unique experiences they have had. I, an ardent supporter and devoted admirer, can’t help but share some intriguing news. The 45th commander in chief, who is seeking another term as the Republican Party’s presidential nominee against President Joe Biden, has chosen Senator JD Vance of Ohio as his running mate. Yet, it’s not just him in this political limelight; members of his own family have joined the public scene as well.
I have observed and admired the remarkable lives of the Trump family, particularly Donald Trump and his children: Donald Jr., 46; Ivanka, 42; Eric, 40; Ivana’s son, and Tiffany, 30, from Marla Maples; and Barron, 18, with Melania. Their public personas are noteworthy, but what truly captivates me is their diverse experiences and accomplishments.
He has mentioned that he might not involve his children in political roles should he be elected president again, despite several of them having contributed to the family business in various capacities, such as real estate executives and advisors.
He shared with Bret Baier of Fox News during an interview in June 2023, as reported by NBC News, that he had said, “That’s enough for us as a family,” due to the great distress his family had endured.
Despite facing legal challenges, including a conviction for falsifying business records in New York and the dismissal of a classified documents case in Florida, as well as an assassination attempt, his family’s unwavering support has stayed by his side.

Ivana Trump was the first spouse of ex-President Donald Trump. Born in 1949 in Gottwaldov, Czechoslovakia (now Zlín in the Czech Republic), she gained recognition as a skilled skier. Marrying Austrian ski instructor Alfred Winklmayr in 1971 granted Ivana the opportunity to frequently travel beyond Czechoslovakia.
In 1992, Donald’s divorce from Ivana was completed after his involvement with Marla Maples, whom he later married. Yet, despite their divorce, Ivana went on to marry Riccardo Mazzucchelli for two years and Rossano Rubicondi for a short time, Donald and Ivana maintained a good relationship.
During the divorce proceedings in 2017, Ivana described Donald’s behavior as ruthless towards ABC News. He treated the divorce like a business transaction and felt compelled to emerge the winner. This process took approximately two years. Subsequently, they managed to maintain a friendly relationship.
In 1977, Ivana and Donald welcomed their oldest son, Donald Trump Jr., into the world. He joined The Trump Organization in 2001 and currently holds the position of executive vice president. Donald Jr. has played a role in his father’s political campaigns, such as speaking at rallies and attending the Republican National Convention during his presidential bids. Together with his former wife, model Vanessa Haydon, they have five children: Kai (who spoke at the 2024 Republican National Convention), Donald III, Tristan, Spencer, and Chloe. Currently, Donald Jr. is engaged to Kimberly Guilfoyle, a former Fox News host.
Approximately four years following Don Jr.’s arrival, Donald and Ivana welcomed their daughter, Ivanka Trump, into the world. Prior to her father’s presidency, Ivanka Trump, an alumna of the University of Pennsylvania, worked for The Trump Organization. However, once he was elected in 2016, she transitioned into the role of Advisor to the President. Following her father’s announcement of his presidential campaign in 2024, Ivanka shared her intention to withdraw from politics and concentrate on her family with her spouse, Jared Kushner, a former White House senior advisor, and their children Arabella, Joseph, and Theodore. In part of a 2022 statement obtained by NBC News, she expressed, “I hold my father in high regard. In this election cycle, I have decided to prioritize my young children and the private life we are building as a family. I do not intend to be involved in politics.”
Eric Trump, born in 1984, is the third-born child of Ivana and Donald. He follows his elder brother in joining The Trump Organization as an executive vice president in 2007. He walks down the family business path. His wife, Lara Trump, is a co-chair for the Republican National Committee, and they have two children together named Luke and Carolina.
Marla Maples is Donald’s second wife, whom he met while still married to Ivana.
Ivana recalled Marla discussing the affair with her during a trip to Aspen in 1989. Contrarily, Marla asserted on “Journeys of Faith” that she hadn’t considered herself a mistress. Marla admitted she regretted not seeing Donald’s divorce papers before their involvement and wished they could have remained together afterwards. Tiffany was born in 1993, and they married that same year. However, they announced their separation in 1997 and concluded the divorce in 1999.
After her parents’ divorce, Tiffany Trump and her mother chose to live in California for a more tranquil upbringing. In an interview with People magazine in 2016, she explained, “She wanted me to have as normal a childhood as possible under the circumstances, to grow up away from the spotlight and find my own identity.” Tiffany released her debut single “Like a Bird” in 2011 and earned her B.A. in sociology at the University of Pennsylvania in 2016. She then pursued a law degree, graduating with a J.D. from Georgetown Law School in 2020. In 2022, Tiffany married Michael Boulos.
Melania Trump was born in Mesto, Slovenia in 1970 and serves as the third wife and former First Lady of the United States for her husband Donald. Notably, she is the second woman in this position who wasn’t born in the U.S., and she obtained American citizenship afterward.
In an interview on “On the Record With Greta Van Susteren” in 2016, Melania shared how she met Donald: “We crossed paths at a high-profile fashion event in New York in 1996. My friend had invited me, and Trump was there.” They got married in 2005 and welcomed their son Barron the next year.
I was born in the year 2006. I’m the only child of Donald and Melania. Growing up, I’ve had a more secluded life, moving with my parents from New York to Washington D.C., and then to Florida. There were speculations that I might join politics when I was selected as a delegate for the Republican National Convention in May 2024. However, I chose to decline this opportunity due to pre-existing engagements. According to Melania’s office, which shared the news with NBC News, “Barron is grateful for the Florida Republican Party’s confidence in him, but he regrets that he cannot attend due to prior commitments.”
