A Guide to Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley’s Family Tree

The Chrisley family has experienced a whirlwind of events over the past few days. Todd and Julie Chrisley were freed from prison on May 28 following their pardon by former President Donald Trump. Savannah Chrisley expressed her disbelief in an Instagram video on May 27, saying she was overwhelmed after receiving the president’s call about the pardons. The couple had been sentenced to a combined 19 years in prison for fraud and tax-related crimes in 2022, but they maintained their innocence. Savannah, who took charge of her siblings Grayson, 19, and Chloe, 12, and fought for her parents’ release, posted footage of herself picking up Todd from the Federal Prison Camp in Pensacola, Florida, on his release, noting on Instagram that he looked incredibly fit.

In a post, the 27-year-old shared a picture suggesting they were reunited with Julie, who is currently imprisoned at Federal Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. The image had their faces concealed, and the caption read, “It’s great to be back together again – and it feels even better!

The reunion was an unforgettable moment for Todd and Julie’s son, Chase Chrisley, as expressed to Entertainment Tonight on May 29: “They both broke down in tears, and my dad held onto my mom tightly. I don’t think he’ll ever let go.

Apart from Savannah and Chase, other family members were just as thrilled about their parents’ return. Todd Chrisley‘s children with his ex-wife Teresa Terry, Lindsie (35) and Kyle, also showed great joy – Lindsie posted a message on Instagram Stories that read “with God all things are possible,” while Kyle said he was “ecstatic.”

In an interview with TopMob News, the 33-year-old Todd Chrisley expressed his gratitude, saying “I know Savannah had been working at this for so long and she never gave up so I’m just grateful to her and to President Trump for making this happen for my dad and Julie.” Despite periods of estrangement between Kyle and his father, he remains hopeful that reconciliation is possible.

Fans have followed the Chrisley family on the show “Chrisley Knows Best,” which aired on USA Network from 2014 to 2023. Despite disagreements and estrangement throughout the years, Savannah has voiced her optimism about healing old rifts.

During a podcast episode on May 13, she suggested that the family should participate in an extensive week-long therapy session to clear up any lingering issues. “I believe if we’re going to truly reconcile, there needs to be an intensive weeklong therapy where we all work through everything,” she said on her podcast Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley. “That’s the only way anything will get resolved, period.”

As for whether fans can expect more of the Chrisleys on TV, Lifetime announced on May 21 that they will be releasing a docuseries, currently referred to as The Untitled Chrisleys Project, later in the year.

According to a press release, with the family’s recent controversy and legal issues involving their parents serving time for bank fraud and tax evasion, the Chrisley Family will offer unique insights into their lives in a new, personal, and dramatic series. Stay tuned for more updates about the Chrisley family!

Todd Chrisley is the head of the Chrisley clan, originating from Georgia and raised in South Carolina. He had a daughter Lindsie in 1989 and a son Kyle in 1991 with his first wife Teresa Terry, before parting ways some years later. In 1996, he tied the knot with Julie Chrisley (born in January 1973 in South Carolina), and together they expanded their family by having Chase, Savannah, and Grayson, as well as adopting Kyle’s daughter Chloe.

Todd shared that he generated approximately 95% of their income through his real estate business before venturing into reality television, while Julie was employed at a bank when they started dating. Their lives, along with the ups and downs of their blended family and affluent lifestyle in Atlanta and later Nashville, were documented on the show Chrisley Knows Best, which ran from 2014 to 2023 and spawned spin-offs like Growing Up Chrisley and What’s Cooking With Julie? as well as other media projects, such as family members’ podcasts.

In 2022, Todd and Julie were found guilty of fraud and tax offenses and were initially sentenced to 12 years for Todd (serving his time in Florida) and seven years for Julie (imprisoned in Kentucky). However, they both pleaded not guilty. In May 2025, President Donald Trump granted them a pardon, and they were subsequently released from prison.

Lindsie, born in September 1989, is the eldest daughter of Todd, having been married to Teresa. She studied at Georgia State University and there she met her former husband Will Campbell. They got married in 2012 and had their son Jackson that December. The TV show Chrisley Knows Best debuted two years later. Lindsie starred on the series for five seasons, where viewers witnessed tension between Todd and Will. She and Will filed for divorce in 2016, and she left the show in 2017. Since then, there has been a strained relationship within her family, which wasn’t mended until 2022 when they appeared together on podcast crossovers.

However, their reconciliation didn’t last long. Lindsie mentioned on her podcast The Southern Tea in March 2025 that she hasn’t seen her father for some time, and she confirmed later that month that she is also estranged from her siblings.

Speaking about the situation on Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra’s podcast Cate & Ty Break It Down, Lindsie stated, “We can live in the same space doing the same things but not necessarily agree or align with each other.” She added that there’s no animosity or ill will.

After Todd and his wife Julie were pardoned in May 2025, Lindsie expressed optimism on Instagram Stories saying, “With God all things are possible.

Kyle, born in August 1991, is Todd’s firstborn son from his previous marriage to Teresa. In November 2012, he had a daughter named Chloe with his ex-partner Angela Johnson. However, in 2016, Chloe was adopted by Todd and Julie.

Kyle only appeared on the first season of Chrisley Knows Best (with a brief appearance in 2021), but his past legal issues, tumultuous family relationships (which involved periods of estrangement and reconciliation), and public struggles with mental health and addiction have been widely reported. He openly discussed his sobriety in a 2019 Facebook post.

In 2021, Kyle married Ashley Nelson and gained step-parental roles for her children Haiden and Mackenzie.

Regarding his relationship with Todd and Julie, he has expressed his desire to reconnect with them upon their release from prison. In an interview with TopMob News in May 2025, he shared, “I believe they are eager to return home and be with family, and I remain hopeful that another reconciliation is possible.

Todd’s firstborn child, Chase, entered the world in June 1996, joining him and wife Julie. Alongside his parents and siblings, he graced our screens on ‘Chrisley Knows Best’. Additionally, he shared the limelight with his sister Savannah on ‘Growing Up Chrisley’ from 2019 to 2022.

Previously engaged to Emmy Medders, Chase experienced a breakup and reconciliation before finally parting ways in 2023. Subsequently, he started dating Jodi Laine Fournerat. Frequently, photos of the duo appear on his Instagram, along with shots of him and grandma Nanny Faye Chrisley.

Following the incarceration of his parents, Chase discussed their growing bond. In an interview with ‘Extra’ in 2023, he shared, “We’ve definitely grown closer. When you’re faced with something like this, people either drift apart or stick together, which is how we were raised. We’ve stuck together and are still fighting.”

Chase himself encountered legal troubles in January 2025, when he was apprehended in Atlanta for a simple battery charge, allegedly due to becoming “extremely intoxicated” and slapping a bar manager upon being asked to leave, according to police records obtained by TopMob News. His lawyers informed ‘People’ that the incident had been exaggerated.

“He did not attack anyone,” they stated. “Chase was trying to settle his bill and depart. We will be investigating the situation independently.”

Apart from his TV appearances, Chase is also an entrepreneur, having launched a candle line and roofing company.

In August 1997, Todd and his partner, Julie, welcomed their child, Savannah. As a teenager, Savannah ventured into the pageant scene, becoming Miss Tennessee Teen USA in 2016 and competing for the national title. Following this, she appeared on various reality and competition shows such as Chrisley Knows Best, Growing Up Chrisley, The Masked Singer, Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test, and hosted her own podcast, Unlocked. She is also a real estate agent in Tennessee and the founder of Good Girl RX.

In her personal life, Savannah got engaged to ice hockey player Nic Kerdiles in 2019 but they separated the following year. Sadly, he passed away after a motorcycle accident in 2023. Later, she dated Robert Shiver, but they parted ways in April 2025, marking nearly two years together. During her parents’ incarceration, Savannah took care of her siblings, Grayson and Chloe, and campaigned for their release.

At the 2024 Republican National Convention, Savannah emotionally shared, “72600019 and 72601019 are more than just numbers to me – they represent my parents’ identification numbers in our federal prison system.” After former President Trump granted Julie and Todd clemency and released them from prison, Savannah shared heartwarming moments of their homecoming, including a video captioned “Reunited and it feels so good.

Grayson, the youngest son of Todd and Julie, became well-known when the show “Chrisley Knows Best” debuted in 2014. Born in May 2006, he is currently attending the University of Alabama and often gets recognized on campus. In an episode of Savannah’s podcast “Unlocked” in February 2025, Grayson shared that the attention is more than it has ever been at his college town.

After Todd and Julie went to prison, Savannah took custody of Grayson and his sister Chloe. In July 2023, on Instagram, she wrote that while she isn’t their parent, she is their older sibling and gets to guide them through life. She added that being a bonus parent is challenging but incredibly rewarding.

Savannah’s bond with Grayson has grown stronger over time. In a post for his 18th birthday in May 2024, she wrote on Instagram that people may think she saved him, but the truth is, he helped save her too.

Todd and Julie became Chloe’s grandparents when Kyle, their son, had a child with Angela Johnson in November 2012. Later, they officially adopted her four years later. Julie expressed her love for Chloe on Instagram in February 2018, stating that she brought immense joy to their family. The public watched Todd and Julie raise Chloe, who is also known as CoCo, on the TV show Chrisley Knows Best. However, when Todd and Julie were imprisoned, Savannah took over as her guardian. On Chloe’s 11th birthday in November 2023, Savannah shared a heartfelt message on Instagram, expressing that watching Chloe grow has been the greatest blessing of her life due to her unique personality. She also mentioned that she wished she had some of Chloe’s characteristics and felt that Chloe was an inspiration to everyone around her. After Trump pardoned Todd and Julie in May 2025, Savannah shared Chloe’s reaction, stating that she was still in shock but excited about reuniting with her grandfather.

Faye Chrisley, affectionately known as “Nanny”, is Todd’s mother. In a touching Instagram post for Mother’s Day in 2021, Todd expressed his deep love for her, saying she fills his heart with love, hope, faith, and confidence.

Born in September 1944, Nanny spent her childhood in South Carolina. She married army veteran Gene Chrisley and together they had three sons: Todd, Randy Chrisley, and Derrick Chrisley (who unfortunately passed away as a baby). Tragically, Gene also passed away in 2012.

On the popular TV show Chrisley Knows Best, Nanny endeared herself to viewers with her humor, bonding moments with sister Frances, dating escapades, and advice. Whether she was enjoying a night out at the casino, savoring a glass of wine, or spending time with family, Nanny showed that she knows how to live life to the fullest.

Nanny has faced challenges too. Alongside Todd and Julie’s legal issues, she was diagnosed with bladder cancer in 2021. However, by 2023, she shared that she had conquered her health battle. In an episode of Lindsie’s podcast The Southern Tea, as reported by People, Nanny revealed, “I’m in remission, thank God. I’ve been out moving around, doing the best I can.”

Nanny has always approached life with resilience. As she once said on Savannah’s podcast Unlocked, “The world doesn’t always give you a good hand to play, so you play it as well as you can. You get up, brush yourself off and keep going.”
