One of the less recognized films from the 2000s, “A Knight’s Tale,” has garnered a loyal fanbase over time. Regarded as a visionary production and featuring one of Heath Ledger’s standout performances in his brief career, “A Knight’s Tale” stands out as one of the most enjoyable rewatchable movies from a decade brimming with them. Unfortunately, streaming users have found it hard to access the film lately without paying for it.
This month saw a significant shift as the classic film “A Knight’s Tale” returned to a prominent streaming platform. The best part? You can now find it on Tubi, a service that doesn’t require any charges, making this beloved movie more accessible than it has ever been.
At the beginning of June, A Knight’s Tale became available on Tubi’s complimentary, advertisement-included platform, thus expanding its reach to a vast audience and possibly a fresh wave of viewers.
Couldn’t ask for a more opportune moment, seeing as how A Knight’s Tale is enjoying its most successful year since its debut in 2001. Not only did it make its free streaming premiere, but director Brian Helgeland’s blockbuster finally received the 4K restoration that fans have longed for. Sony has just released a fully restored 4K version of A Knight’s Tale, significantly improving upon the film’s troubled Blu-ray edition. If you’re interested, you can purchase your own copy of this new Knight’s Tale release here.
Coming to Tubi in July
In June, A Knight’s Tale was one of Tubi’s most significant new additions. However, this free service is already peeking ahead to July, where it has even more exciting arrivals lined up. Recently, Tubi unveiled its plans for July, which encompass the addition of popular titles such as Final Destination, Jurassic World, Arrival, Robocop, and many more.
