A live stage show of The Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy is coming to London

Starting on Saturday, 15th November, the performance will commandeer Studios 2 and 3 at a community-oriented venue, which was established by author and protege of Douglas Adams, Arvind Ethan David.

After hearing the announcement, he remarked: “The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy stands as one of the most impactful narratives in history. It blends satire, humor, science fiction, philosophy, and more into an extraordinary tale.

In my fortunate circumstances, I had the esteemed Douglas Adams as my mentor, who foresaw the chaotic digital age we inhabit today, marked by social media excesses and existential threats. Now, with an assembly of exceptional narrative artists, handpicked from the cream of Broadway, the West End, and television, we are granted the opportunity to reintroduce HHGG to a fresh cohort of hitchhikers.

David has been involved with the Netflix adaptation of Adams’s additional renowned book series, Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency. He will collaborate with Tony Award-winning theater producer Tamar Climan and Emmy Award-winning set designer Jason Ardizzone-West on this project.

Recognized for its sharp wit and eccentric characters, The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy chronicles the journeys of the nightgown-wearing protagonist Arthur Dent, who embarks on a string of wild escapades alongside his companions Ford Prefect, Trillian, Fenchurch, and Zaphod Beeblebrox.

The specific dates for the show’s performances and its entire schedule are still undisclosed, but what we can confirm is that ticket sales will commence from Wednesday, 25th June onwards.
