As a longtime fan of both Clue and the Muppets, I am absolutely thrilled about the upcoming release of “Clue: Muppets.” Growing up, I spent countless hours playing Clue with my family and friends, and the Muppets were a staple in my childhood entertainment. This new version combines two of my favorite things, and I can’t wait to see how it all comes together.
A diverse assortment of murder tools resemble iconic props used in Muppet films and television series, spanning from Marley’s chains to a skillet brimming with food that sings, as seen on “The Muppet Show.”
The board is brimming with numerous Muppet-themed hidden gems, predominantly from ‘The Muppet Show’, such as Kermit’s coffee mug and Animal’s drum kit. Additionally, it features a nod to the initial ‘Clue’ board, which occupies a prime location in the theatre’s central hall.
One well-recognized aspect of The OP Games is their reputation for adapting iconic games like Monopoly and Clue, merging these classics with diverse intellectual properties (IPs). In general, the crossover versions of Clue incorporate a unique in-world plot for the murder mystery and usually feature boards customized to the different properties.
