The producer went on to say, ‘Now it’s up to you, our audience. If there’s a demand for it, we have plenty more tales to share from this world, some quite intriguing ones indeed. My inclination, following The Hunt for Gollum, would be to focus on individual stories first. However, if we feel particularly inspired—there are certain grand narratives that could potentially be told in the epic trilogy style similar to the original Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rings story.’
