A Real Pain – TRAILER

As a seasoned cinephile who’s had the pleasure of watching films from various eras and genres, I must say that the trailer for “A Real Pain” has piqued my interest significantly. The combination of Jesse Eisenberg and Kieran Culkin, two immensely talented actors, promises a compelling performance.

The “A Real Pain” trailer is not for a documentary about reality TV celebrities, but rather it’s a Sundance Film Festival-winning movie featuring Jesse Eisenberg and the Golden Globe winner, Kieran Culkin.

A TROUBLESOMENESS arises as cousins David (Jesse Eisenberg) and Benji (Kieran Culkin), who previously had a strained relationship, embark on a journey across Poland to pay tribute to their late grandmother. However, the trip takes an unexpected twist when the lingering issues between them resurface amidst the exploration of their shared family heritage.

Searchlight Pictures presents Sundance Film Festival award winning, A REAL PAIN, directed and written by Academy Award® nominee Jesse Eisenberg (The Social Network, Zombieland). The film stars Eisenberg alongside Emmy® and Golden Globe® winner Kieran Culkin (“Succession,” Scott Pilgrim vs. the World), with a cast rounded out by BAFTA winner and Emmy® nominee Will Sharpe (“The White Lotus”), Golden Globe® nominee Jennifer Grey (Dirty Dancing), Kurt Egyiawan (Beasts of No Nation), Liza Sadovy (“A Small Light”), and Daniel Oreskes (The Thomas Crown Affair, “Only Murders in the Building”). Producers are Dave McCary (“Saturday Night Live,” I Saw the TV Glow), Ali Herting (Bodies Bodies Bodies, “The Curse”), Emma Stone (Poor Things, Cruella), Eisenberg, Jennifer Semler (Theater Camp), and Ewa Puszczyńska (The Zone of Interest, Cold War).

The film will be in UK and Irish cinemas from 10^th January 2025.
