In recent episodes of Monday Night Raw and SmackDown, the topic of player transfers has been a recurring theme, with some stars hinting at switching from one brand to another. So far, several moves have been rumored, while others have been hinted at on TV. However, tonight, one of WWE’s most beloved supergroups, the Wyatt Family (also known as the Wyatt Sicks), officially departed Monday Night Raw and joined SmackDown Live.
In tonight’s broadcast, we saw a behind-the-scenes conversation between Karrion Kross and The Miz, during which Kross appeared agitated following some new information. He challenged Miz, accusing him of being involved in the relocation of the Wyatt Sicks to SmackDown, asking Miz directly if this was true.
As Sami Zayn passed by, The Miz had already pledged he hadn’t done anything. This led to an argument between them. After some back-and-forth banter, Zayn mentioned he needed to discuss other matters with Adam Pearce, but also planned to discuss a match between them that same evening. He was confident that he would emerge victorious in that contest as well.
Regarding Wyatt Sicks, this transition is significant for their team and a promising acquisition for SmackDown. The group has been a compelling narrative on Raw prior to moving to Netflix, however, they have yet to make an appearance in any of the Netflix episodes thus far.
It’s clear now why they are being transferred to USA Network, to become one of SmackDown’s major highlights in the future. Given that the blue brand seems to be preparing a significant launch sooner rather than later. Lately, SmackDown has extended from 2 hours to 3 hours, and even though this isn’t a permanent change, having a group like the Wyatt Family with their promotional and vignette possibilities will only assist in filling that extra hour with more captivating content.
Additionally, there are intriguing confrontations scheduled for the blue team’s groups, with the Bloodline being a significant focus. Given that Solo Sikoa’s Bloodline seems to be maintaining their alliance for now, they will require fresh adversaries since Roman Reigns has reclaimed the Ula Fala and revitalized his standing. A showdown with the Wyatt Family could certainly offer a change of pace, but it might not be a negative development either.
Additionally, there are factions such as Legado Del Fantasma who might get into conflicts with the Wyatt Family, but since American Made is rumored to join SmackDown too, this group could potentially continue their rivalry from its previous encounters on Raw.
As a follower, I’m excitedly looking forward – fingers crossed – that we won’t have to wait long before catching the supergroup back on WWE TV again. This time around, it seems like their return is scheduled for Friday evenings, so mark your calendars!
