Evan Peters’ version of Quicksilver) in “Kick-Ass,” it’s a fascinating tale of parallel universes within the world of comics.
Aaron Taylor-Johnson recently conversed with IMDb about several roles, particularly focusing on Kraven the Hunter, an upcoming Spider-Man universe villain. It’s not the first time this actor has been involved in action-filled projects or superhero tales, and it’s not his debut in Marvel movies either. Previously, he portrayed Quicksilver in Avengers: Age of Ultron. During the discussion, Taylor-Johnson expressed his thoughts on that experience and even confessed that he didn’t understand why Wanda (his movie sibling) didn’t revive him after he perished.

Instead of reviving Quicksilver, fans were given an unexpected twist when Evan Peters, known for playing Quicksilver in the X-Men movies, appeared as “Ralph Bohner” character instead, missing a genuine Quicksilver appearance in WandaVision. Remarkably, Taylor-Johnson and Peters had previously acted together in 2010’s Kick-Ass.
When asked if he had talked about Quicksilver with Evans, Aaron Taylor-Johnson confessed they hadn’t conversed directly on the topic. However, he mentioned they encountered each other at San Diego Comic-Con and shared a mutual sense of amazement, similar to “Wow, aren’t we so fortunate to be here, still pursuing what we passionately enjoy?” Despite being in separate cinematic worlds, he found it amusing.
Apart from featuring in the show “Agatha All Along“, Peters was also highly praised by Taylor-Johnson. In an interview with Esquire Magazine last year, he stated, “I simply wanted to be with my little ones. I didn’t want to miss out on them. I wrestled with the idea of how that would work. I can say I wasn’t quite prepared for that situation yet – it was still too soon. But yes, I also didn’t feel particularly compelled by those film offers.
In their upcoming venture, actor Taylor-Johnson will star in “Kraven the Hunter,” a film produced by Sony. Previous Sony productions such as “Madame Web,” “Morbius,” and the “Venom” series have received mixed reception from audiences. However, this new film promises to deviate from the norm, earning an R rating. Could this be the opportunity Sony needs to rectify its past mistakes and enhance its Spider-Man universe?
