The action-packed flight combat simulator game “Aces of Thunder” is soon going to introduce a flat screen mode on PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam, following its original release on PlayStation VR2 and SteamVR. This announcement was made by the developers at Gaijin Entertainment.
In a recent press statement, Gaijin Entertainment’s creative director, Kirill Yudintsev, shared that enabling Flat screen mode will help attract more gamers and give VR-equipped users an opportunity to demonstrate the benefits of using a headset during intense flight simulation dogfights. Despite the game being close to completion (at the polishing stage), the developers are adamant about releasing it only when it’s truly finished.

The game offers various modes such as competitive player-versus-player battles with balanced opponents, demanding single-player missions, and a custom combat scenario editor for those who prefer setting their own rules. In “Aces of Thunder”, success is earned through skill, precision, and dominance in the skies.
In the upcoming months, “Aces of Thunder” will debut on PlayStation 5 and SteamVR. The flat-screen version is expected to follow shortly thereafter.
