The action-packed, single-player shooter game titled “Achilles: Survivor” is set to release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam in the latter half of 2025, as announced by its developers at Dark Point Games. After exiting Early Access, the game will debut in version 1.0 with all these platforms simultaneously.

In the game “Achilles: Survivor“, players can select from a wide array of characters, ranging from the famous hero Achilles, to a cyclops who hurls boulders, or even a powerful rooster deity. Each character possesses unique abilities, pushing players to adapt to distinct gameplay strategies. Fight off the denizens of the underworld on a variety of playable maps inspired by locations from the mythical tale of Achilles, such as Troy and Tartarus. As you progress through each round, your character will level up, transforming them from hero to a god of destruction as you acquire stronger power-ups and skills. Enhance your team’s overall stats between battles to improve your chances against the minions of Hades, as you face increasingly dangerous monsters and bosses.
After the Trojan War, Hades, the god of the underworld, brought back Achilles to engage in a struggle against the other gods. Once Achilles had fulfilled his duty, Hades deceived him, throwing him into the abyss of Tartarus and sentencing him to endless suffering. Unwilling to accept this destiny, Achilles managed to escape from the underworld, liberating numerous souls, among them several who had perished at his own hands. Enraged by this rebellion, Hades released his dark minions to pursue Achilles and all the freed souls. Assume the role of Achilles or one of the many others rescued from Tartarus and prepare for a battle that will carry you beyond the realm of the living, aiming to thwart Hades and his legion of the damned.
