As a lifelong comic book enthusiast who’s been following the Spider-Man saga since I first donned my homemade web-shooters back in the day, I can’t help but feel a sense of exhilaration and nostalgia upon witnessing the unveiling of this new marvel – the Spider-Society! The concept is nothing short of genius, bringing together an eclectic ensemble of Spidey heroes from various realities to face threats that would make even Doctor Octopus’ eight arms tremble.

Experience the brand-new multiverse of Spider-Society, where Miles Morales (Spider-Man) and Gwen Stacy (Ghost-Spider) serve as your knowledgeable guides! The idea of the Spider-Verse isn’t fresh news, given the massive box office success of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. What made it exciting was witnessing various Spider heroes unite, and appreciating their individual uniqueness. While this has been depicted multiple times in comics, the latest series, Spider-Society, is making a more deliberate effort to build upon the developments seen in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. Similar to that movie, Miles Morales and Gwen Stacy are spearheading this new adventure.

As a devoted gamer, I’m thrilled to share that I’ve gotten an early peek at issue #1 of ‘Spider-Society’, penned by Alex Segura, with art by Scott Godlewski and Matt Milla. This epic tale finds Miles Morales and Ghost-Spider on Earth-616, where Gwen Stacy now resides. After reminiscing over a steaming bowl of Top Ramen, they both receive mysterious alerts from Madame Web on their cellphones. Knowing that when Madame Web calls, it’s usually about a threat to the Web of Life and Destiny, our dynamic duo embark on a race to see who gets there first. In the end, they arrive at none other than the legendary Spider-Society. Can’t wait to dive into this web-tastic adventure!

Marvel introduces readers to the Spider-Society

As a gaming enthusiast excitedly flipping through the exclusive peek of Spider-Society #1, I can’t help but notice some familiar faces. There’s Spider-Ham, my personal favorite, along with the mighty Spider-Rex. Silk and her high-tech SP//dr suit are there too, as well as Peni Parker. The techno-suit she pilots is quite a sight! Also, I spot Spider-Punk and Web Weaver in the mix. Black Cat seems to have taken on the mantle of Spider-Woman, and there are more surprises waiting to be unveiled!

As a diehard fan, I can’t help but express my excitement about the latest installment of Edge of Spider-Verse! This comic book has paved the way for the new Spider-Society series. In this story, Julia Carpenter, also known as Madame Web, reaches out to Spider-Man 2099 from the future and brings him to present-day New York City on Earth-616. The aim? To kickstart the recruitment process for a team of Spider-Heroes hailing from various corners of the multiverse.
