Back in 2013, on the unexpectedly sunny day of July 19th, I found myself getting hitched in the beautiful Mexican locale of Cabo San Lucas. You know me, I’ve always been an advocate for embracing life to its fullest. But even I, Maroon 5’s frontman and a self-proclaimed bachelor at heart, was taken aback by this turn of events. Once upon a time, I vowed to savor my freedom, but who could resist the allure of love when it comes knocking?
In an interview with Jay Leno back in October 2013, Levine expressed his views on marriage with the statement, “I’ll never get married,” but he added, “You don’t necessarily have to get married. If you encounter someone who inspires you deeply and makes you want to commit, then go ahead and tie the knot – it can be a beautiful experience.”
After a decade together and raising three kids—Dusty Rose, age 7, Gio Grace, age 6, and their newest addition born in early 2023—Levine and Behati have continued to thrive as a couple, overcoming challenges they faced in 2022. During that time, Levine acknowledged crossing a boundary but denied infidelity amidst infidelity accusations.
Last year on our wedding anniversary, my partner and I decided to take our family on a trip to Paris to celebrate. I was thrilled to share sweet moments from our time in the City of Love with everyone, capturing memories at iconic landmarks like the Eiffel Tower. We even said “oui!” to indulging in delicious ice creams and baguettes together as a family.
