During my recent performance on the last episode of “Weekends With Adele” at Caesars Palace’s Colosseum (Nov. 23), I took a moment to recognize two incredibly special individuals in my life: my son, Angelo, who is now 14 years old, and my fiancé, Rich Paul.
To my child, I decided to take up a residency rather than continue touring, Adele explained tearfully in a clip shared by a fan on X. “However, I opted for a residency to maintain some semblance of normality in his life,” she added.
Adele, the singer known for “Someone Like You,” who has a son named Angelo with her former husband Simon Konecki, went on to say. “I wouldn’t change our situation for anything, but it’s wonderful that I get to spend weekends with him now because he can’t be there all the time. So I love you immensely.
Adele shifted focus towards her fiancé Rich. “To my dear partner,” the ‘Send My Love’ singer expressed, “I appreciate you for constantly boosting me up and making me believe that I can accomplish anything. There have been instances when I’ve felt overly tired or emotionally exhausted.
The performer, whose Las Vegas residency started in November 2022 after pushing it back multiple times, additionally shared that she experienced a sense of completion when Celine Dion visited one of her “Weekends with Adele” concerts in October.
Adele expressed that she wept for an entire week. Indeed, it was an incredibly poignant experience for her since the sole motivation behind her entering this place was the reason she found herself there.

During my entire break, I will cherish our connection deeply.
