After being banned for two years, Adin Ross has been reinstated on Twitch. Known for his popular “Just Chatting” streams, where he’s hosted numerous celebrities and musicians over the years, Adin Ross gained significant attention. Last year, he made headlines when he invited President Donald Trump onto his stream, a suggestion reportedly made by Trump’s son, Barron, to attract younger voters. In return, Ross presented Trump with a Tesla Cybertruck adorned with an image from the day of Trump’s assassination. Following Trump’s election victory, Dana White publicly thanked Ross for his contribution in helping Trump secure the win.
It’s not hard to understand that his actions have stirred up some controversy, especially given the questionable characters like Andrew Tate who have appeared on his stream. After getting banned from Twitch, Ross signed a deal with Kick, earning an hourly wage for streaming, and he mentioned this income is in the five-figure range. Yet, he still yearns to go back to Twitch, despite already making substantial sums on Kick and having significant freedom there. It seems he desires both the vast Twitch audience and his current platform’s perks.

Following years of persistent efforts, Adin Ross’ Twitch ban has been lifted on March 29th, 2025. This was observed by Twitch viewers who noticed that his page had reappeared. It appears his follower count was reset, as earlier day screenshots showed approximately 60 followers, but at the time of writing, he now has over 30,000 followers. Other than the reset follower count, his Twitch page seems unchanged from how it was previously. Earlier in the day, Adin Ross tweeted about streaming, possibly hinting at his return to Twitch.
Currently, there’s some uncertainty as to why Adin Ross was recently reinstated on Twitch, although the platform had hinted in 2023 that it might reconsider permanent bans. However, prior instances of this happening on a large scale are rare or nonexistent. Previously, Adin Ross was banned from Twitch due to insufficient moderation of his chat and allegedly allowing hate speech, such as racist and antisemitic remarks, to persist without punishment. In the interim years, Ross has become more open with his content, so it will be intriguing to observe if he adjusts his behavior on Twitch and whether Twitch will ban him again if he continues in the same manner.
