Adrien Brody’s 2025 Oscars speech was all about family.
During the awards ceremony, the Brutalist actor graciously acknowledged his win and extended a touching message to Georgina Chapman’s children from her former marriage with Harvey Weinstein, the disgraced Hollywood producer. (You can find the list of all the night’s winners here.)
Dash and India,” he expressed in his talk at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on March 2nd, “I realize it’s been quite a ride, but I appreciate being welcomed into your world.
After that, the 51-year-old appeared to share the nickname he’s known by among the children, stating, “I’m coming home as a victor, they call me ‘Papa Winner.’
In his speech, Adrien gave credit to the fashion designer who he had a romantic connection with back in 2019.
As a lifestyle expert, I’d express it like this: “My wonderful partner, Georgina, has significantly boosted my self-esteem. Beyond that, she’s helped me rediscover my personal worth, my sense of what truly matters to me, and the values I hold dear.
Adrien received his second Oscar for Best Actor in 2021, with his first win coming back in 2003 for “The Pianist.” While accepting the award, he took a moment to reflect on how much he’s grown over the past 22 years since his initial acceptance speech.
He stated, ‘Coming back here has given me a valuable new perspective.’ He emphasized that regardless of where one stands in their professional journey or achievements, everything they’ve built could potentially disappear.
Based on this, Adrien observed that the recognition brought back memories of the “obligation I feel to continue doing the work I enjoy.
He went on to say, “This is a fresh start for me. I hope that during the next two decades of my life, I’ll have the good fortune to demonstrate that I deserve significant, impactful, and pertinent responsibilities.

As I traverse life’s winding paths, much like the journey portrayed in “Mi Camino,” I find solace and inspiration in embracing the beauty of each step. This soulful melody, beautifully rendered by Selena Gomez and Edgar Ramirez, serves as a poignant reminder that our personal journeys are intricately connected to the universal human experience.
Each day presents unique challenges and opportunities, and it’s essential to navigate them with grace, resilience, and an open heart. I encourage everyone to find their own “Camino,” and in doing so, discover the profound lessons that life has to offer. Let us walk together, sharing stories of our individual paths and learning from one another as we grow and evolve.
The song “Never Too Late,” penned by Elton John, Brandi Carlile, Bernie Taupin, and Andrew Watt, is sung by none other than Elton John himself. In simpler terms, Elton John sings the song “Never Too Late” that he helped write with others.
