As a long-time fan of Final Fantasy 7, witnessing Briana White’s emotional speech at The Golden Joystick Awards was nothing short of heartwarming. Briana White shares a heartfelt note with the community of Final Fantasy 7 enthusiasts; take a look at her video post up above!

The Aerith actress was speaking at The Golden Joystick Awards, shortly after picking up the award for Best Supporting Performer.

When TopMob Gaming asked White about the significance of fans attending and supporting her at these fan-voted events, she replied: “If I ponder it too deeply, I’ll become so emotional that I won’t be able to talk to you without tearing up.

However, I’m truly amazed! I am deeply appreciative, genuinely speaking, that the fans embraced me into the Final Fantasy family. They are extremely devoted to these characters, and I had some rather large footsteps to follow in.

As a movie enthusiast, I can’t express enough how much their appreciation for my acting means to me. It feels like they’ve welcomed me into their world, and this warm reception truly touches my heart.

And what would White say to those fans if they’re watching?

White responded, “I’m fully aware that they’re keeping an eye on me. It’s not only the fans who are doing so, but I can feel their gaze too. To all of them, I’d like to express my deepest gratitude. Without your support, I wouldn’t be standing here.

Additionally, your assistance has been instrumental in making my dreams a reality. In return, I wish for you the same – should you harbor any dreams, I encourage you to chase them. They are worth pursuing, as they should be for everyone, much like how I was given the opportunity to make mine come true.

Isn’t that just delightful! Feel free to pass it along via your preferred social media platform, should you wish to spread the news!
