As a die-hard wrestling fan with decades of experience under my belt, I can’t help but feel a mix of excitement and nostalgia when it comes to AEW’s announcement about their 2025 event, “AEW All In Texas,” at Globe Life Field. It’s like reliving the golden era of wrestling all over again, with the rich history of Texas wrestling and the promise of stadium-shaking matches that will go down in wrestling folklore.
Within two weeks, AEW is set to return to London for AEW All In at Wembley Stadium, after a massive performance at the inaugural event last year. The lineup features several significant matches, such as Bryan Danielson potentially bidding farewell in his fight against current AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland. “Timeless” Toni Storm will defend her Women’s World Championship against Mariah May, her former protege, marking a stark change from Storm’s activities last year. This year’s event demonstrates a great deal of progress in AEW, merely considering the announced matches. Prior to the show, it has been disclosed that AEW will not be returning to London next year. Instead, AEW All In will take place at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas.
All Elite Wrestling (AEW) made it clear that the celebrations won’t stop after AEW All In; they have a series of events lined up, with further details to be revealed at a later date. It’s been suggested that AEW could hold a significant pay-per-view in Texas, known as the Lone Star State, following their successful summer partnership in Arlington which has significantly boosted their company.
Texas, with its long-standing wrestling tradition, has been eagerly awaiting an AEW event since their debut in 2019. Interestingly, WWE is currently discussing plans to host a future WrestleMania in London, England. Given this, it’s possible that this could influence the decision-making process regarding AEW shows. However, Tony Khan, president of AEW, stated back in July that organizing a stadium event within the U.S. isn’t part of their immediate plans for AEW.
Hey there fellow gaming enthusiasts! I’m buzzing with excitement to announce that we, the team at AEW, are all set to bring “AEW: All In Texas” to Globe Life Field in Arlington on July 12, 2025. This is a massive milestone for us as it will mark our first-ever pay-per-view event in Texas and also our debut at an American stadium. We’re following in the footsteps of some epic stadium wrestling events that have taken place in the US, especially here in the Lone Star State, where we aim to make history!
“Arlington Mayor Jim Ross expressed his excitement about Arlington teaming up with All Elite Wrestling for their major 2025 event. He stated that fans from all over the globe will flock to our captivating city for AEW: All In Texas, generating a substantial economic boost for the area.”
