It seems that Kathryn Hahn, the creator of the show “Agatha All Along“, chose the name to be reminiscent of the famous novel by Agatha Christie, “And Then There Were No More Oysters”. The choice of name is also a nod to the classic sitcom “Bewitched”, which starred Elizabeth Montgomery as Samantha and Dick Sargent as Darr, who were characters in a fictional town, living their lives under the watchful eye of a nosey neighbor and his meddlesome cat.

Prior to the release of “Agatha All Along,” I had a chat with Brad Winderbaum, who is in charge of Streaming, Television, and Animation at Marvel Studios. I was curious about who came up with the idea for the show’s title modifications, and how “Agatha All Along” became an ongoing joke of tantalizing Marvel fans with numerous names

“Well, it seems like Agatha All Along. We were akin to, ‘It’s appearing as if Agatha All Along. And then someone was like, ‘You know what? We should just be acting as if a fake chairback.’ And they were like, ‘Oh, we’ll actually be doing it as a fake announcement.'”

The opening scene of “Agatha All Along” finds Joe Locke’s enigmatic Teen character showing Agatha a homemade “Welcome Coven” sign, which she promptly tears down upon being questioned about its alignment. The exchange is interrupted by Jennifer Kale, portrayed by Sasheer Zamata, who is the initial coven member to arrive. She’s offered some aged granola bars as refreshments before the road trip. In due course, we meet Lilia Calderu, played by Patti LuPone, who identifies Jennifer as the “high priestess.” Lastly, Alice Wu-Gulliver, portrayed by Ali Ahn, makes her appearance; she’s a former police officer
