Agatha All Along: Does Wanda Return in the Finale?

As a seasoned gamer and longtime Marvel enthusiast who has witnessed the intricate web of narratives unfold across the multiverse, I must admit that the latest addition to the MCU, Agatha All Along, has left me both puzzled and intrigued. Wanda Maximoff’s absence in this series, despite her profound influence on its plot, has been a palpable void for many fans like myself who have followed her journey since the early days of WandaVision.

In the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), Wanda Maximoff, also known as The Scarlet Witch, hasn’t made an appearance for a couple of years, having died at the end of “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness”. However, her influence is still significant, particularly in the events portrayed in “Agatha All Along”. Not only did Wanda create the Westview anomaly, which sparked Agatha’s adventure, but a large portion of this series’ narrative revolves around one of Wanda’s sons, Billy.

1) The kids Wanda brought into existence successfully evaded the spell’s impact when it was cast, and Billy’s spirit moved into the body of a recently deceased teenager following a car accident. This event set Billy on the path known as the Witches’ Road, where he seeks answers about his brother, Tommy, to discover what might have happened to him.

The core issue revolves around Wanda’s enduring impact, sparking curiosity among fans about whether the Scarlet Witch might reappear in Agatha All Along. However, the last two episodes of Marvel’s latest Disney+ series, Agatha All Along, revealed the answer definitively on Wednesday night. SPOILER ALERT: This article discloses CRITICAL PLOT POINTS for Agatha All Along. Proceed with caution…

Regrettably, longtime fans of the Scarlet Witch may have been disappointed as Wanda Maximoff is absent from the concluding episode of Agatha All Along. However, in one scene, Billy seems to reminisce about his last moments in Westview and you can make out the voice of Wanda in his thoughts. Apart from that solitary line of dialogue (which was borrowed from WandaVision), no further appearances of Wanda were made.

In essence, the central plot twist in “Agatha All Along” heavily revolved around Wanda Maximoff’s character. As it turns out, it was actually Billy who unintentionally crafted the Witches’ Road. This mental landscape, akin to Westview but originating from his bedroom items, was where he and the coven embarked on their journey. Going forward, Billy has an opportunity to rectify the significant power display associated with the creation of the Witches’ Road.

Essentially, there’s a strong possibility that Wanda could make a comeback, as the door for her return seems wider than ever, given our new understanding of Billy and Death’s abilities. Moreover, if a widely-held fan theory holds true, Wanda may have returned already.
