Having grown up playing the original games on PC, I never thought I’d be able to conquer civilizations on the go – but alas, here we are in 2024, with a mobile version that promises to bring the magic of Age of Empires to even more players around the world.

Strategy fans will have a new game to play on the go later this year.

Globally, Age of Empires Mobile will debut on October 17, 2024, following extensive testing across multiple regions prior to this date, as the developers have announced. This mobile version of the Age of Empires series has been a collaborative effort between World’s Edge, Xbox Game Studios, and TiMi Studios. Interested players can now pre-register for Age of Empires Mobile.
