  • Sons of the Sun (Heroic Age, Hyperion) Oracles are one of the most useful unique units Atlanteans have access to, due to their scouting ability. This makes them even better, upgrading them all to their Hero variant and eliminating all Favor costs for them!
  • Devotees of Atlas (Mythic Age, Atlas) – If you rely on a somewhat kamikaze playstyle, this technology will greatly buff all of your Fanatics. For every 1% HP your Fanatics are missing they will get +0.20% Speed and -0.50% Rate of Fire. This applies to both normal and Hero variants. In summary, it makes them move and attack much faster as they lose health!

  • Valley of the Kings (Mythic Age, Thoth) – This upgrade basically guarantees that Barracks and Migdol Strongholds have a 100% Double Train rate when Empowered by Pharaohs. In essence, it effectively duplicates how many units you can produce from both buildings.
  • Crimson Linen (Heroic Age, Sekhmet) – Myth Units are some of the best in the game, and this technology further boosts them. Get it and all of your Myth Units will heal for 20% of all damage they deal to other units. Scarabs will get a stronger bonus, as they will heal for 60% of all damage they deal to other units instead.
  • Axe of Vengeance (Mythic Age, Horus) – Are your enemies’ buildings in the way? This is the technology for you. It gives all of your Axemen a Melee Attack Damage Bonus of 2.00 against all buildings. On top of that, it increases their Damage by 0.50% for every 1% of HP they’re missing. Great for rushing enemy fortifications!
  • Serpent Spear (Classical Age, Anubis) – Buffs your Spearmen by giving them all the ability to apply 0.13 Divine Damage Over Time whenever they land melee attacks. The effect lasts for 6 seconds.

  • Sarissa (Classical Age, Athena) – If you use Hoplites heavily as your infantry unit, this is a must-have. It adds 1.50 Melee Attack Maximum Range and 10% Melee Attack Damage (Hack) to all Hoplites.
  • Deimos’ Sword of Dread (Classical Age, Ares) – This is one of the best new technologies in Age of Mythology: Retold due to a simple reason: it allows you to get Hypapists earlier. You’ll get them in the Classical Age instead of the Heroic Age! As if that weren’t enough, it also gives them +15% Melee Attack Damage (All Types).
  • Phobos’ Spear of Panic (Classical Age, Ares) – This is one of the best new technologies in Age of Myth: Retold due to how many units it buffs. It will grant 1.00 Melee Attack Damage (Divine) to all of your Hoplites, Militia, and Prodromos. That’s three different units with greatly increased damage output from a single upgrade!
  • Shafts of Plague (Mythic Age, Artemis) – Coats your Ranged Soldier’s arrows in poison. This gives them +10% Ranged Attack Damage (All Types). Additionally, they will apply 0.25 Divine Damage Over Time for 6 seconds when hitting foes. Great for wars of attrition!
  • Chthonic Rites (Heroic Age, Dionysus) – Hydrai and Scyllai are some of the strongest units in the game as is, so… let’s make them even better. This technology gives them a regeneration rate of 2.5 hitpoints per second, allowing them to heal themselves passively. This will be sure to scare your foes for good…
  • Thracian Horses (Heroic Age, Dionysus) – An all-around fantastic technological upgrade to all of your Cavalry units. It grants them the ability to heal for 20% of the damage they deal to other units.

  • Rigsthula (Classical Age, Heimdall) – Despite the high 20 Favor cost, this is one of the strongest early game technologies you can get. It will give all of your buildings a permanent Training and Research work speed boost of 20%. This includes advancement research, allowing you to get to the next Age faster.
  • Jotuns (Heroic Age, Njord) – This is an all-around upgrade to Mountain Giant units. It transforms them into Jotuns and gives them +25% Hitpoints, +25% Melee Attack Damage (All Types), and +25% Speed. It also enables them to Punt enemy units. Not only is it highly amusing to see your giants kick enemies around, it’s also extremely effective!
