As a seasoned veteran of the Age of Mythology Retold battlefield, I can confidently say that building a Titan Gate is no small feat! It’s like climbing Mount Olympus, but instead of gods, you’ve got meat, gold, and favor to contend with.
In the game Age of Mythology Retold, Titans are the strongest units you can call upon, capable of shifting the course of any conflict in your favor. However, to bring forth these mighty beings, you must initially construct the Titan Sanctuary.
In this guide, we will be looking at exactly what you need to do to build this Mythical structure.
How To Build A Titan Gate
To construct the Titan Gate, your journey should lead you to the fourth era, known as the Mythic Age. Reaching this stage will necessitate building various structures and utilizing a significant amount of resources. Once you’ve arrived at the Mythic Age, the ability to build the Titan Gate can be obtained as a divine power.
Getting to the Mythic Age
To reach the Mythic Age, you will need to go through all of the ages that come before it.
In the beginning, you’ll embark on your journey in the Stone Age. To progress further, you’ll need to construct a Temple. Once the Temple is built, click on your Town Hall to select a minor deity and move forward to the Classical Age. The initial transition will cost you 400 Meat. Keep in mind that each subsequent advancement will demand more resources from you.
Progressing from the Classical Era to the Heroic Age involves constructing an Armory first. Once built, access the Town Hall as usual to move on. You’ll need 800 Meat and 500 Gold for this upgrade.
To progress from the Heroic Era, you’ll reach the next phase known as the Mythical Age. To accomplish this final step, construct a Fortress first. After completing the construction, simply click on your Town Hall to advance to the Mythical Age. This last leap forward will cost you 1000 Meat and 1000 Gold.
Building the Titan Gate
When you reach the Mythic Era, navigate to your Town Hall to uncover the Mysteries of the Titans. Discovering these Titan Secrets grants you a Divine Ability to erect the Titan Gate, which will cost you 800 units each of Meat, Wood, Gold, and 50 Favor points from your resources.
Once you’ve discovered the secrets of the Titans, you have the freedom to position your Titan Gate anywhere within your base. To do this, simply click on the circular icon located at the top of your screen. This action will enable you to place the gate similar to any other building in Age of Mythology Retold. During the placement process, don’t forget that you can also adjust the direction it faces by rotating it.
All that remains is to clean up the rubble at the Titan Gate. I’ll have to ask a Villager to handle this task, but it might take some time. Afterward, the gate will be prepared for summoning a Titan. However, you can only use the Titan Gate once in this state, and once utilized, you’ll need to progress to the Wonder Age before you can access another Titan Gate again.
