All Classes Expected at Launch | AION 2

On the day of its launch, we anticipate having 8 distinct classes available for AION 2. These classes are inspired by those from the original AION, although the creators have not fully disclosed how they will function. We can expect them to play quite differently in comparison to their performance in AION, but they’ll likely preserve the basic fantasy role of each class.

Nonetheless, these are all the 8 confirmed classes for launch:

  • Gladiator – A tank who relies on life-steal for sustain and survival. Has great area-of-effect attacks, as well.
  • Templar – The most traditional tank archetype possible. Uses a shield to mount a stalwart defense.
  • Assassin – Very agile, great for dealing high damage and quickly moving around the battlefield. Primarily meant to go behind enemies to attack from behind.
  • Ranger – A bow user that attacks from a safe distance, sniping enemies with precise shots.
  • Spiritmaster – They can summon spirits to help in combat. In this game, they seem to have been retooled to mainly focus on solo combat.
  • Sorcerer – Capable of dishing out massive damage in bursts with powerful spells.
  • Cleric – The token main healer, this class is mostly meant to be played in groups.
  • Chanter – A more hybrid style of support class. Can provide buffs and heal allies as well.

Unfortunately, we only have a general understanding of all the character classes that will be available at the launch of AION 2. At present, specifics regarding their gameplay are not fully disclosed. However, this information provides a glimpse into what you might encounter as you start playing on the first day.
