View Urgent ForecastEpisode 2 resumes with Aizawa facing off against Knuckleduster, moments before he’s about to deliver a blow. The protagonist intervenes, wrapping Knuckleduster’s arm with his scarf and dragging him away. Instantly provoked, Knuckleduster retaliates, launching an attack on the hero. This leads to a thrilling fight sequence filled with Aizawa’s impressive acrobatics, and unexpectedly, a brief alliance between Aizawa and three “Instant Villains” when they target Koichi. Eraserhead demonstrates his unique abilities by quickly resolving the situation, but he acknowledges Knuckleduster’s skills while cautioning him about straying into villainous territory.
My Hero Academia: Vigilantes Gave Fans Their First Look at Aizawa in His True Element
In this episode, Aizawa often mentions that it’s his day off, taking breaks to handle some grocery shopping amidst the conflicts portrayed. The initial part of the show presents an intriguing clash between Eraserhead and Knuckleduster, highlighting their unique abilities. Interestingly, Aizawa skillfully dodges our vigilante while deploying his Erasure quirk during this face-off. Initially, something seems amiss for Aizawa, and he soon understands that the man before him isn’t tougher due to a quirk but is naturally durable and stubborn instead.
After discovering that Knuckleduster wasn’t breaking any laws with his abilities, Aizawa initially decides to report the mysterious vigilante without powers to the police. Yet, he finds himself drawn into assisting a group in confronting the sudden enemies and the destructive giant, whose actions were apparently powered by quirks.
Aizawa Witnesses the Vigilantes’ Brand of Heroism
Following Aizawa’s decision to aid the vigilantes, the scene shifts to Pop Step and Koichi, hotly pursuing a shady businessman while being chased by three instant antagonists. The businessman, sensing danger, swallows a quirk-amplifying drug called Trigger, transforming into a colossal version of himself and wreaking havoc across the city block. Seizing Pop Step, the giant villain carelessly discards her, prompting Koichi to demonstrate his heroic potential for the first time. He swiftly climbed up a building using his gliding quirk, providing a launch pad for Pop Step to activate her quirk. Subsequently, Koichi glided across the giant’s palm and leaped instinctively towards trash bags on the ground to elude the villain.
In a surprising turn of events, the colossal antagonist starts to diminish in size. Just then, Shota Aizawa arrives on the scene and promptly defeats the villain, completely disabling its quirk using Erasure and securing it within his scarf. Aizawa ensures all the villains are captured by the police, picks up his groceries afterwards, and has one last encounter with Knuckleduster before departing for home. Eraserhead acknowledges Knuckleduster’s help but reminds him that vigilantism is beyond the scope of the law. Knuckleduster seems to acknowledge Aizawa’s words with a hint of skepticism, emphasizing that heroes rely on individuals like him who sometimes push boundaries.
