Alan Ritchson provides a sneak peek at his upcoming action flick, directed by Scott Waugh of The Expendables 4 fame. Previously known for his roles in Smallville and Blue Mountain State, Ritchson gained prominence with his action-oriented movies and TV shows. Throughout his career, he’s played characters such as Gloss from District 1 in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire and Raphael in the 2014 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. More recently, he joined the Fast & Furious family, appearing alongside Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, and others in Fast X. He also secured a significant role in Guy Ritchie’s The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare.
Ritchson played the role of Hank Hall, the vigilante, across three seasons of “Titans”, which initially aired on DC Universe in 2018 but later moved to HBO Max. However, he is widely recognized for his portrayal of Jack Reacher in the Prime Video series, where a former military police officer undertakes numerous investigations. Throughout this show, Jack Reacher was involved in many thrilling and impactful action sequences, such as a perilous fight in a stairwell and a brutal hand-to-hand combat against Paulie during season 3, showcasing his aptitude for stunts.

Production Has Started For The Upcoming Action Movie
Currently, Ritchson is teaming up with Waugh, the director of “The Expendables 4” and “Need for Speed”, for an upcoming action flick titled “Runner“. This movie revolves around Hank Malone, a courier for a luxury shipping service, who has to rush transporting a liver between two Australian cities within a limited timeframe. Alongside Ritchson, who is also serving as a producer, the cast features Owen Wilson, Leila George, Rodrigo Santoro, Geraldine Hakewill, Sullivan Stapleton, and Adriana Barraza. Although specifics such as a release date are yet to be disclosed, filming for Runner has already commenced.
Lately, Ritchson shared some backstage content from the production of Runner on Instagram. The reel showcases pictures of him at work, such as someone apparently attending to his arm in one shot. It also includes footage of a fight scene being filmed, Waugh reviewing footage on a screen, and Ritchson resting on the floor, mentioning that it’s tiring.
