As a die-hard Alan Wake fan, I’m thrilled to see the latest updates for Alan Wake 2, especially the upcoming expansion, The Lake House. Having spent countless hours navigating the dark and eerie landscapes of Bright Falls, I can hardly wait to revisit Cauldron Lake and dive back into the world Remedy has so skillfully crafted.
After outlining the Anniversary Update for Alan Wake 2, Remedy’s communications director Thomas Puha has disclosed its file size across all platforms. The PS5 version will take up just 15 GB, with the Xbox Series X/S requiring 18 GB and the PC version needing 20 GB. It’s important to note that The Lake House, which is part of this update, can only be played if you own the Expansion Pass.
On October 22nd, I’ll be diving back into the chilling waters of Cauldron Lake in Bright Falls, teaming up with FBC agent Kiran Estevez to uncover a mystery at the facility. Just as anticipated, there will be plenty of terrifying creatures lurking around, as Remedy assures us that this expansion offers a more authentic survival horror gaming experience, harkening back to classic genre roots.
For individuals who haven’t acquired the expansion pack, eagerly anticipate numerous fresh features in the complimentary Anniversary Update. These include Game Assist Mode offering one-hit kills, invincibility, immortality, swift turning, unlimited ammo, and additional perks.
