Alec Baldwin wants to be the boss, baby.

As a die-hard fan, I can totally relate when Alec Baldwin, star of 30 Rock and father of seven (including a 29-year-old daughter, Ireland, with ex Kim Basinger, and five more with wife Hilaria), expresses his ideal Father’s Day as a chance for him to take control and enjoy some personal time.

At the 2025 Gotham TV Awards on June 2, the New York actor jokingly told TopMob News that he plans to cycle his way to Virginia, looking forward to spending a considerable amount of time enjoying the outdoors.

As a lifestyle expert, I’d say it can be quite tricky to carve out some personal space amidst the bustling household filled with my delightful brood – Carmen, 11, Rafael, 9, Leonardo, 8, Romeo, 7, Eduardo, 4, María Lucía, 4, Ilaria, 2. Each one adds a unique spark to our family dynamic, making it all the more enriching. But, finding that much-needed ‘me’ time is indeed essential for maintaining balance and sanity!

He mentioned that on usual dates, they narrowly manage to leave the house and do so for their children’s sake. They typically have a 90-minute dinner out, followed by heading back home and retiring to bed.

Instead of spending her special day in a tranquil setting, Hilaria prefers to be surrounded by the lively commotion of her family. In her own words from Instagram last month, “Mother’s Day is about being with loved ones.

She went on, recalling their journey, by displaying photographs from various stages of pregnancy over the years. “Swings at playgrounds, scaling trees, school assignments, and spontaneous Baldwinito workout sessions” were all part of this recollection.

Nowadays, she has proudly assumed the role of grandmother as Ireland gave birth to a daughter called Holland in the year 2023.

On an episode of TLC’s The Baldwins in March, Hilaria, aged 41, expressed delight and shared that their youngest child is almost nine months senior to Ireland’s, highlighting the close timing of their pregnancies.

She explained, “Our relationship as a stepmother and stepdaughter is unusual because, technically, that’s what we are. Firstly, I’m eleven years older than her, so I didn’t raise her. We often find great amusement in this fact, and have always shared a lot of laughter about it.

Alec Baldwin, the Emmy-winning actor recognized as Alexander Rae Baldwin III, was born on April 3, 1958. His parents are Alexander Rae Baldwin Jr. and Carol Newcomb, and he is the second-born among six siblings, being the eldest brother in the family.

After that, we have Daniel Baldwin, born on October 5, 1960. Following him is William “Billy” Baldwin, who entered the world on February 21, 1963. Lastly, Stephen Baldwin, the youngest of the group, was born on May 12, 1966.

Among the six siblings, it’s Elizabeth “Beth” Baldwin Keuchler who is the eldest. Born in 1955, she is currently a mother of six and married to Charles Keuchler, a renowned landscape architect.

Among the six individuals, number 5 is Jane Baldwin Sasso, who was born in 1965. She is currently married to Randy Sasso and they are said to have two kids together.

Carol outlived her father who died at the age of 55 in 1983. Despite being diagnosed with breast cancer in 1991, she went on to live until she was 92 years old. She passed away on May 26, 2022, leaving behind 25 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and a cancer research foundation named after her.

In his tribute upon her passing, Alec expressed that his mother had taught him about starting over and persevering through multiple challenges. He mentioned that during the final quarter-century of her life, she was a persistent warrior and a powerful advocate for the cause she was deeply invested in.

Alec was married to Oscar winner Kim Basinger from 1993 until 2002.

Their daughter Ireland Baldwin was born Oct. 23. 1995.

Alec married Hilaria Baldwin (née Thomas) on June 30, 2012.

Presently, they have seven children who are all part of their family: daughters Carmen Gabriela (born Aug. 23, 2013), María Lucía Victoria (born Feb. 25, 2021) and Ilaria Catalina Irena (born Sept. 22, 2022); as well as sons Rafael Thomas (born June 17, 2015), Leonardo Ángel Charles (born Sept. 12, 2016), Romeo Alejandro David (born May 17, 2018) and Eduardo “Edu” Pao Lucas (born Sept. 8, 2020).

Ireland and musican RAC (André Allen Anjos) welcomed daughter Holland in May 2023.

Daniel shares daughter Kahlea, born in 1984, with first wife Cheryl. They divorced in 1989.

This actor has a daughter named Alexandra with his second spouse, Elizabeth, who was his partner in marriage from 1990 to 1996.

Daniel has a son named Atticus Baldwin, who was born in 1996, with his former co-star from “Homicide: Life on the Street,” Isabella Hoffman. They were together until the year 2005.

Daniel was married to model Joanne Smith from 2007 to 2012.

They share daughters Avis, born Jan. 17, 2008, and Finley, who arrived Aug. 7, 2009.
