As I delve deeper into the lives of these Bravolebrities, it’s clear that some have had more impact than others. Some, like Katie from RHOC, came out swinging and made quite an impression, much like a California sunset after a day at the beach. On the other hand, we have ladies such as Larsa, who, much like a Miami night, seemed to fade into obscurity after their initial appearance.
Alexis Bellino is once again saying goodbye to The Real Housewives of Orange County.
As I found myself back among friends on the Bravo series for its most recent 18th season, I’ve chosen to step away and won’t be part of the cast for season 19.
On the December 19th episode of the ‘Going Rogue’ podcast, Alexis expressed that he wasn’t invited back for the next season. He added, “It didn’t take me by surprise; I was expecting it.
The 47-year-old remarked that the discussion was tough. Apparently, they hadn’t anticipated the need for contracts so soon. They believed there was still more time. When the call arrived, it took them by surprise, but the content of the call didn’t catch them off guard.
Moreover, departing from RHOC previously in 2013 following a five-season stint on the series equipped her with the experience needed to handle her dismissal more recently.
The mother of three expressed some relief, acknowledging that nobody enjoys rejection or being told they’re not invited back. However, she had experienced this situation before – it occurred in season eight for her. She’s been through it and knows how to handle it now.
Throughout season 18, Alexis’ narrative primarily revolved around her conflict with Shannon Beador, stemming from Alexis’ relationship with Shannon’s former partner, John Janssen. The season concluded when Heather Dubrow, Tamra Judge, Gina Kirschenheiter, and Emily Simpson banded together to support Shannon after Alexis and John threatened legal action against her regarding an outstanding loan.
After that incident, I was unsure where I belonged anymore. However, I held on to the hope that somehow, everyone could find a way to return. Yet, things unfolded as they had to.
Plus, Alexis believes Shannon has the public support on her side.
She pointed out, “How do they manage to resurrect a character who isn’t widely liked compared to the one that fans adore?” And I understand that sentiment.
Despite her exit, Alexis is ready for her next chapter and upcoming wedding.
She posted on Instagram, “Every time a chance ends, a new one begins,” she wrote alongside a picture with her fiancé John, whom she got engaged to this past summer. Quoting Romans 8:28, ‘And we know that God turns every situation into something good for those who love Him,’ she expressed her affection for her daughters and wished them an excellent season ahead. Comments are now open, but please remember her children might be reading your messages, so let’s keep things respectful.
For now, continue perusing to find out where Alexis stands in the TopMob’s definitive list of all Housewives. Feel free to catch up with The Real Housewives of Orange County anytime on Peacock.
Bravo’s unsuccessful endeavor to showcase our country’s capital resulted in the gathering of four women who are so nondescript that it’s understandable if they slip your mind, despite their names being Mary Amons, Lynda Erkiletian, Cat Ommanney, and Stacie Scott Turner. There’s another woman who sought fame so fiercely she managed to gatecrash a party at the White House; more about her will follow later on.
Who?
Vaguely familiar, but…
Once upon a time, DeShawn starred on the same TV show as NeNe Leakes. Surprising, we know.
This one-season Housewife brought nothing to the Orange County table.
As a passionate follower, I’d like to share that Utah’s latest addition to the Housewives’ second season created quite a stir, unfortunately not in a positive manner. In the opening months of 2022, Jennie found herself out of the show following the reemergence of her past Facebook posts, which were deemed offensive and racially insensitive. Despite offering an apology later on, the harm had already been inflicted.
Her defining trait was “cougar.”
In a more casual and engaging manner, one could say: During season 16, the Orange County doctor, Dr. Jen, kept things calm and drama-free. Her temporary marital issues with her perpetually shirtless husband, Ryne (or perhaps Ryan), didn’t exactly spark excitement. However, who could forget Dr. Jen’s boisterous behavior after getting quite tipsy on wine during the Dubrows’ exceedingly awkward yet captivating dinner party?
The nurse anesthetist’s flop first season can be summed up in one cringe-worthy word we hope we never hear again: Esophagus-gate.
Katie often discussed her charitable endeavors enthusiastically, yet didn’t seem very active on the show itself. She was essentially a one-time appearance, and when she returned, she wasn’t particularly helpful as a friend. Skipping out early from the cast trip would be considered unfavorable behavior among the Housewives.
During the two seasons she spent as a primary cast member, Charrisse’s marital issues became quite prominent, along with her champagne room, which are arguably the most notable aspects of her time on the show.
A one-and-done Housewife, Shamari was at least fun?
In season 12, it was refreshing to observe some variety among the predominantly white cast of the O.C., but Peggy turned out to be a source of frustration due to her peculiar conflicts and tendency to argue over words she didn’t comprehend. Moreover, her decision to seclude herself in her room for an entire day during the Iceland trip highlighted that she might not be well-suited for the fast-paced lifestyle of the Real Housewives.
During her debut season, instead of fostering a connection with her Nigerian co-star Wendy Osefo, Nneka’s storyline primarily revolved around an allegation she made against Wendy’s mother, accusing her of being a witch. It’s unfortunate that we didn’t get to witness them bonding over their shared heritage and culture, rather than engaging in an argument without resolution.
In season 16, Noella whirled around as if she were a whirlwind of frenetic enthusiasm. Although her own problems (her husband James abruptly left the country and requested a divorce just before filming began) were intriguing to some extent, it was her ongoing drama with Heather Dubrow, the queen bee, that kept her from sinking too low in the rankings. Perhaps given more time and another season, we’ll grow fonder of Mrs. Bergener.
In her debut season, she was known for keeping the peace, but by her second (and final) season, she switched to constant complaints about a tossed cake and unsubstantiated accusations of anti-Semitism. It’s hard to recall a faster descent from grace on “Real Housewives” than this one.
Everything Amber and her spouse Jim appeared to exude a sense of extreme urgency or panic. Furthermore, it seemed that Jim found himself entangled in more of the turmoil compared to Amber. It wasn’t a very appealing scenario.
What stands out most about Karen is that she was a dentist, and it appeared as though none of her colleagues held her in high regard. On to the next!
This was a real person with a show on Bravo. We promise.
Among the more recent temporary cast members on Real Housewives of New York, Jules didn’t stay long enough for a top spot. Yet, during her time, she certainly brought plenty of drama to the table.
So unnecessary they couldn’t even get individual taglines.
Similar to Sara Al Madani, Nina embodied a multi-faceted, accomplished Arab woman who skillfully merged contemporary lifestyle with age-old cultural customs. For the most part, she steered clear of the first season’s turmoil and often found herself overshadowed by her co-stars, whose larger, more vibrant personalities took center stage.
Taleen proved to be an excellent newcomer during the second season of RHODubai, and we eagerly anticipate learning more about her.
A contestant from America’s Next Top Model who appeared in seasons 11 and 12 didn’t leave a significant mark on the Real Housewives of Atlanta (RHOA), mainly because she was pregnant for most of her time there. However, she did earn points for her memorable confrontation with Marlo Hampton during their trip to Tokyo.
Normally, we require observing multiple seasons to rank a new Housewife higher. However, Katie made a strong debut during the 18th season of RHOC, challenging veteran Housewife Heather Dubrow right away. It takes courage for a woman to question someone as high-society as Ms. Fancypants.
Sara’s upbeat, insightful perspective on life was generally agreeable, yet lacked much suspense (apart from the occasion when she gave Caroline Brooks some unwelcome parenting suggestions). Nevertheless, this tech entrepreneur broke down stereotypes about what it means to be a contemporary Muslim woman in the Middle East, and for that we commend her.
The newcomers from the 13th season of “RHONJ” seem to embody the classic profile of a Jersey Housewife and, surprisingly, engaged in a lengthy dispute over trivial matters during the entire season. Andy Cohen himself labeled this feud as unnecessary at the reunion. Despite its lack of substance, we’re eager for both of them to return for season 14, hoping they can climb higher up the ladder with another engaging performance.
In the first season, Larsa didn’t leave a strong impact before departing the show. When ‘RHOM’ returned for its fourth season in 2021 on Peacock, her narrative revolved around her past friendship with Kim Kardashian and (her ventures into selling suggestive foot photos on OnlyFans…).
After spending one season as a Bravo personality, she attempted to compete in season 12 of ‘Next Food Network Star’ in the year 2016. Unfortunately, she wasn’t successful there as well.
Sadly, she seemed to serve as a scapegoat for Brandi Glanville. Moreover, her catchphrase promoting the distasteful idea that one can never be too thin was repulsive.
