The complete trailer for “Alien: Earth” has just been unveiled! This summer, catch it on FX. As its title implies, this series acts as a precursor to the initial Alien movie, but unlike the original, it takes place on our home planet, Earth.
Originating from the small screen under the supervision of Noah Hawley, this series marks the first television adaptation within the extensive Alien franchise. Notably, Ridley Scott, original director of the Alien films, is involved as an executive producer for this project. The narrative centers around a team of soldiers who face a horrifying danger upon their spacecraft’s crash-landing on a distant planet. Titled Alien: Earth, the series is scheduled to debut on FX on August 12. For those eagerly anticipating it, a sneak peek can be found by watching the official trailer available below.
In the future year 2120, Earth is ruled by five powerful corporations, and advanced technology has given rise to cyborgs, synthetics, and even humanoid robots with human consciousness called hybrids. However, when a spaceship from Weyland-Yutani collides into Prodigy City, the first hybrid prototype named Wendy and other hybrids come across creatures that are far more terrifying than anyone could have ever imagined, after their research vessel USCSS Maginot crash-lands on Earth. A diverse group of tactical soldiers, including Wendy, must now face this greatest threat to humanity.
