Alien: Romulus Reveals New Images of the Film’s Doomed Crew

As a die-hard fan of the Alien franchise, I am beyond excited to see the young cast of “Alien: Romulus” gracing the pages of Total Film Magazine this month! The images of Cailee Spaeny, David Jonsson, Archie Renaux, Isabela Merced, Spike Fearn, and Aileen Wu are absolutely captivating. Their expressions convey a range of emotions from fear to determination, making me even more eager to witness their performances in the film.

In this month’s issue of Total Film Magazine, a fresh group of actors from the film “Alien: Romulus” grace its pages. Feel free to browse through the photo collection underneath for a sneak peek!

In a captivating turn, the cast of “Alien: Romulus” includes Cailee Spaeny (“Civil War,” “Priscilla”), David Jonsson (“Agatha Christie’s Murder is Easy”), Archie Renaux (“Shadow and Bone”), Isabela Merced (“Madame Web,” “The Last of Us”), Spike Fearn (“Aftersun”), and Ailee Wu. Each talented young actor graces the following photos, kindly provided by Total Film Magazine.

In one image, Wu’s character “Navarro” appears to be enduring the agony of carrying a Xenomorph inside her, with other young characters gathered around her in concern. A separate photo displays Fearn’s character “Bjorn” engaged in a secret conversation with Spaeny’s “Rain Carradine.” Lastly, Merced’s character “Kay” exhibits signs of fear and uncertainty regarding the unfolding events, as depicted in additional images from Alien: Romulus. Moreover, we are presented with two captivating cover artworks; one showcases Rain (holding a gun) mirrored against the terrifying, salivating visage of a Xenomorph.

As a passionate gamer and sci-fi enthusiast, I’m thrilled about the upcoming release of Alien: Romulus. With Fede Alvarez at the helm, known for his impressive directorial work in films like “Evil Dead” remake and “Don’t Breathe,” this horror flick is set to make a significant impact this summer – potentially even the whole year. Many fans, including myself, are eagerly anticipating that Alvarez will revitalize the Alien movie franchise, as Ridley Scott fell short in achieving that feat with his 2010s prequels “Prometheus” and “Alien: Covenant.”

What Is Alien: Romulus About?

As an avid fan of the Alien franchise, I’m excited to share that the upcoming film, Alien: Romulus, is being marketed as a new adventure rather than a straightforward sequel. In this installment, a band of brave young colonizers embarks on a daring mission to plunder a derelict spacecraft. However, their plan takes an alarming turn when they discover that the seemingly abandoned vessel has been overrun by the most dreadful creatures in the cosmos: the Xenomorphs.

The film features Cailee Spaeny as Priscilla, David Jonsson in the role of Agatha Christie’s Murder is Easy character, Archie Renaux portraying Shadow and Bone’s persona, Isabela Merced depicting The Last of Us figure, Spike Fearn as Aftersun’s actor, and Fede Alvarez directing. He collaborated with Rodo Sayagues on the script, which is based on characters originally conceived by Dan O’Bannon and Ronald Shusett, the pioneering creators of the Alien franchise.

Alien: Romulus hits theaters on August 16th.
