Unravel details about each type of Body Armor available in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, along with their specifications and methods for acquisition.
This way, you can efficiently gather information on the armor pieces and their attributes, as well as learn where to find or obtain them within the game.
In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, armor is an essential gameplay feature that shields your character from enemy attacks. The game boasts various armor sets, each with distinct qualities, ensuring minimal damage to you. There are two main categories of armor: Light and Heavy. Light Armor is made up of materials like leather and metal, while Heavy Armor primarily consists of high-quality steel. Among these, the Heavy Armor offers the greatest defensive advantages, shielding you from various types of damage.
In KCD2, there are numerous armor pieces for different body parts. The most vital among these is the Body Armor, which shields you from a single lethal blow to your torso. This guide will outline all the Body Armors you may encounter in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.
Body Armor Overview in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, the Body Armor is indispensable for any warrior or knight. Wearing it offers some protection against bodily attacks, making it essential in combat situations. Failing to don appropriate armor could lead to a perilous situation where a single, lethal blow could prove fatal. Just as you need an undergarment with Body Armor, players will also need to wear something beneath their armor, be it a Gambeson or Pourpoint. Without this protective layer, you won’t be able to don the Body Armor.
As a gamer, donning my armor ensures I’m resistant to all three types of damage in this game: Stab, Slash, and Blunt. Essentially, when I get hit on my body while wearing armor, it instantly prevents the Bleeding effect from taking hold. Instead, I can tough it out, gain a chance to reposition myself, and stand a fighting chance against those pesky enemies.

Best tips and tricks for Body Armor in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
Here are some of the best tips and tricks for Body Armor in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.
- Check the durability of the Body armour from time to time.
- Fix and repair your Body armour pieces if they are close to being broken. Use the armourer’s kit to repair it yourself or take it to a blacksmith or an armourer.
- Keep your visor down if you are wearing a helmet with a visor. It will grant you extra protection against the strikes to the face.
- During the combat, if you begin to take hits, keep an eye on the “Purple Bar”. It is your armour’s durability for tanking hits. If it gets low, back up and let it refill. Otherwise, you might take a chunk of damage and probably start bleeding.
- Check for better Body armour options at the blacksmith shops or by looting the dead enemies.
FAQs about Body Armor in KCD2
How to Wear Body Armor in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2?
In King’s Crown 2, before I can suit up in the Body Armor, I’ve got to don a Gambeson or Pourpoint first. These are the layers that go over my shirt and other outfits, serving as the foundation for any plate armor. If I skip wearing a Gambeson or Pourpoint, I won’t be able to put on the Body Armor at all.
How Armour works in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2?
In King’s Crown II, the armor shields your character from adversary assaults. You have the option to don several armor items simultaneously. However, the bulkier ones provide greater protection at the expense of increased stamina consumption within the game.
How does Armour affect your character stats in KCD 2?
The overall ‘Noise Level’ you produce is calculated as the mean of the noise produced by your weapons, armor, and attire. When you equip heavier armor, the stamina required for your battle actions will increase accordingly.
