As an old-time traveler of Teyvat, I’ve seen my fair share of adventures and challenges. Following the road to the south, I remember the thrill of time trials and the rush of collecting Hydro Particles within a tight deadline. The journey up that mountain to find the origami bird atop it brought back memories of conquering great heights.
To obtain the event gadgets in Jocund Letters (AoE), you need to collect 75 Excerpts of Bliss.
For Joyous Letters (Whole Map), you will need to gather a total of 200 Excerpts of Bliss.

Initial Notes (Excerpts of Bliss x3)
Once you finish these assigned tasks, you’ll be rewarded with treasure chests. Each chest contains one Excerpt of Bliss as a reward. So, you’ve earned yourself three Excerpts of Bliss upon completion. If you don’t have them yet, make sure to finish the quest first for your reward.

Route 1 (Excerpts of Bliss x13)
1. Teleport to waypoint 1 and head northeast towards the first origami bird on top of a plant.
As I stand at the edge of the cliff to the west, I take a deep breath and prepare myself for the challenge ahead. Below me, a band of enemies has gathered around a gleaming treasure chest. Determined to claim the riches for myself, I leap off the cliff, my heart pounding in my chest. Landing gracefully (or not so gracefully), I draw my weapon and focus on the enemies before me. With all my might, I engage in battle, defeating each foe one by one until the last one falls. Triumphant, I approach the treasure chest, my heart racing with excitement as I prepare to unlock its secrets.
1. Follow the riverbank until you spot an origami frog and a shimmering landmark. Solve the riddle to unlock a treasure chest.
After solving the frog riddle and completing the puzzle, I’ll head towards the southeastern direction following the winding path to discover yet another hidden treasure chest.
I encountered an issue at the treasure chest near waypoint 2. If I hadn’t claimed it beforehand, I might miss out on it. Fortunately, this glitch is going to be resolved shortly.
Keep moving north-east and reach the papier-mâché house; then, ascend to its peak to retrieve the origami bird.
Go to waypoint 3 and transport yourself there. Afterward, face east towards the spot where you and Nilou collaborate on solving the origami frogs’ musical performance riddle. Luckily, no bugs are present in this location.
As a gamer, I’d say: Climbing a little higher up the hill from where we were, you’ll come across two origami frogs tucked away. If you’re stuck, select the “Let me help!” option and finish off the puzzle to bring forth a treasure chest.
9. After completing the leapfrog challenge, head north to the road to find a Common Chest.
Route 2 (Exceprts of Bliss x20)
Move to position three by teleportation, where you’ll come across an intricately folded origami frog. Finish the leapfrog task to gain access to a hidden treasure chest.
If you stroll by the river in the northwestern direction, you’ll come across another set of frogs. Finish the leapfrog task anew to unlock a treasure chest.
At the finish line of the last leapfrog contest, you’ll be treated to a captivating frog concert. Finish the challenge successfully to unlock a Lavish Treasure Chest.
As a gamer, I’d say: Heading north a short distance from my last position, I come across a duo of frogs. Completing their leapfrog minigame earns me a precious treasure chest as a reward.
Move on in the northeastern direction and you’ll come across three squirrels chirping about a concealed treasure chest. The chest is tucked away behind a boulder.
15. Go upwards toward another rock. You can see the origami bird icon on the mini-map.
To solve the puzzle, advance higher to reach the location of the alpaca. Rotate it to align with three distinct areas:
I’ll head in the southeastern direction for a thrilling time-trial experience. My goal is to gather as many Hydro Particles as possible within a tight 60-second window.
As a seasoned space traveler with years of experience under my belt, I’m no stranger to teleportation or time-trials. So when I receive the instructions to “teleport to waypoint 3 once again and go to another time-trial challenge,” I feel a familiar thrill coursing through me.
After finishing the task, locate the origami frog by a sealed treasure chest. Solve the leapfrog riddle to gain access to the chest.
As a gamer, I’d describe it like this: Heading west from where we were, I came across a scenic waterfall. Nearby, I spotted three lively squirrels chattering away about a hidden treasure. Keep an eye out for a bush concealing the treasure chest they spoke of.
21. Head upwards by climbing the mountain for an origami bird near a group of animals.
Before the earlier gathering of animals lies a timed competition. Overcome all adversaries to bring about the appearance of a treasure chest.
At the end of this trail, you’ll find an origami bird nestled by a large orange paper leaf. Nearby is where you’ll discover the origami frogs’ usual gathering spot.
Route 3 (Excerpts of Bliss x30)
24. Teleport to nearby waypoints and glide towards the top of the mountain where you and Nilou help an alpaca with their juice puzzle.
Starting from where we were before, make your way down the mountain. You’ll notice some ores scattered around the rocks. Additionally, you might hear squirrels chattering about a hidden treasure. Keep looking, and you’ll find the chest concealed behind a rock.
26. Take the origami bird near the previous chest.
As someone who has spent hours hiking through enchanting forests, I can tell you that the woods are not just collections of trees, but living ecosystems teeming with creatures. Among these beings are the clever and charming squirrels, always ready to engage in playful interactions. So, heed my advice: venture further down the road, seek out one of these adorable rodents, and begin your adventure. By interacting with a squirrel, you’ll unlock the treasure chest that awaits at the heart of this magical journey.
At the endpoint of the road, you’ll encounter a time-trial test. Overcome all the adversaries to successfully finish the test.
After defeating the enemies, make your way to the mountain’s edge. Look for a symbol of an origami bird on the mini-map there. Soar in that direction.
Move in the direction of the southeast until you spot a cluster of mushrooms encompassing a secured chest. Overcome them.
After vanquishing your foes, head to the close-by time trials and finish them to obtain another chest as a reward.
As a excited fan, I’d describe it like this: When I reach waypoint 4 and teleport there instantly, I make sure to check it out thoroughly. Once I’ve arrived, I venture further and explore the area on the same level. Lo and behold, I stumble upon a hidden treasure chest near the door that I found!
33. Get out of the door and climb the tree up top to find an origami bird.
As a gamer, I’d say: Heading southwest from my current position, I come across two hidden treasure chests. To open them up, I need to complete a small challenge first. It’s just like the nursery rhyme “Ring Around the Rosies,” so let’s give it a try!
36. Head southeast to the edge of the mountain for another origami bird.
Descend the cliff from the previous spot to reach a sealed Precious Chest and an alpaca. The squirrels can guide you to a gathering of Hilichurls, who hold berries and conceal a hidden treasure chest.
As a seasoned adventurer with numerous treasures under my belt, I’ve encountered my fair share of challenges. One such test came when I faced off against a bandit gang of Hilichurls guarding a bountiful orchard. With grit and determination, I managed to vanquish them all, seizing both the ripe fruits and the elusive treasure chest.
Visit this spot if you’d like to encounter a bunch of squirrels. Finish their task to uncover a hidden treasure chest.
40. Head south following the path for another squirrel challenge.
41. Nearby the previous squirrel is an origami bird, take it.
As a gamer, I’d say: Heading to waypoint 4 now, let me teleport there quickly. Once arrived, I’ll jump down towards the western side. Keep an eye out for an intriguing scene: an alpaca in deep conversation with a squirrel! Completing the connected quest will reward me with the coveted Precious Chest unlocked.
Keep going south on the road for a time-trial experience. Gather Hydro Particles before the time runs out, within a 100-second limit.
Route 4 (Excerpts of Bliss x26)
As a seasoned adventurer with years of trekking and navigation under my belt, I’d suggest this: Hop to checkpoint number five, then pivot yourself towards the southeast. Once you’ve made that turn, brace yourself for an uphill battle all the way to the peak. And there, standing proudly, awaits your reward – an origami bird, a beautiful testament to nature’s artistry and your own determination.
Keep going in the southeastern direction until you reach a cluster of hamsters and an alpaca. Finish their task to uncover a treasure chest.
46. Climb the bigger tree and glide down towards the tree with an origami bird on top of it.
As a passionate adventurer, I’ll keep heading south-east and walk steadily downhill until I encounter a cluster of Hilichurls. Defeating them will reward me with the key to open the sealed chest.
48. Teleport to waypoint 5 once again and walk northwest for a flying squirrel challenge.
If you head in the southwestern direction, you’ll come across a Common Chest. This chest is open, but keep in mind that there are hostile enemies in the vicinity. Proceed with caution.
Close to the old Common Chest, there’s an opening to a cave. Go inside the cave and stick to the sole trail, and you’ll eventually encounter an alpaca in need of assistance. Aid the alpaca to receive another treasure chest.
As a gamer, I’d say: “I’ll warp to waypoint five and then go west to encounter a gang of Hilichurls. Defeating them will reward me with a Common Chest.”
52. Walk south to find an origami bird near the swirly plant.
As I continue my journey south, keep in mind that you’ll come across a luxuriously sealed chest ahead. It’s crucial that you approach it before anything else, as this will cause the playful squirrels gathered around it to scamper off to explore new areas.
After the squirrels have relocated to their designated spots, make your way to the cluster of animals situated north of the Luxurious Chest and finish the task at hand.
54. Glide southeast for a group of Hilichurls guarding a treasure chest. Defeat them.
As an excited fan, I’d urge you to climb to the summit of the towering tree one last time. The final squirrel challenge awaits at the peak, and with its successful completion, the luxurious chest hidden in the heart of the tree will finally be yours to unlock.
56. But before getting that Lux Chest, climb further up the tree to get an origami bird.
57. Now get your Luxurious Chest.
As a keen nature lover and squirrel enthusiast, I’d suggest heading in the southeastern direction for an exciting adventure. Along the way, you’ll stumble upon a delightful group of playful squirrels. Join them in a friendly game of catch, and who knows, by the end of this fun-filled experience, you might just be rewarded with a hidden treasure chest!
