In the adventure of Monster Hunter Wilds, The Crimson Woods serves as your second expedition area. This is where you initially establish a Field Base or Pop-up Camp. Notably, there are a total of nine additional spots within this woodland where you can also set up your Pop-up Camps.
In the game “Monster Hunter World”, Pop-up Camps serve as compact replicas of regional Base Camps. They allow you to rest, replenish supplies, swap equipment, and most crucially, teleport quickly. However, at any given time, you can only set up a maximum of four Pop-up Camps. Therefore, it’s beneficial to familiarize yourself with all potential Pop-up Camp locations in each region before deploying your Camping Kits.
How do Pop-up Camps work in Monster Hunter Wilds?
Establishing a Temporary Camp involves selecting one of your four Camping Sets and requires 50 Guild Points. If you create a Temporary Camp when you already have the maximum of four, the oldest existing Temporary Camp will be replaced by the newly established one.
At each Pop-up Camp site, there’s a safety rating: Safe, Unsecure, or Dangerous. This indicates the potential risk of the camp being assaulted and demolished by monsters. Keep in mind that repairing a destroyed camp consumes more Guild Points. For comprehensive information about Pop-up Camps and their safety ratings, we recommend checking out our guide on Plains Pop-up Camp locations for further details.
