Monster Hunter Wilds has introduced a novel method for temporary camps with their Pop-up Camp feature. Essentially, these are compact bases where you can perform essential tasks, but they won’t host any unique NPCs aside from Alma and your Palico. The number of available Pop-up Camps varies per region, although you can only set up a limited amount of them.

The initial region you gain access to upon starting the game is called the Windward Plains. This piece will outline all the Pop-up Camp spots within the Windward Plains in Monster Hunter Wilds.

How to make Pop-up Camps in Windward Plains

In Monster Hunter Wilds, you’re allowed to establish up to five Pop-up Camps within the Windward Plains simultaneously. The placement of these camps is entirely up to you. If you wish to set up a new camp at another location when you already have five in place, you’ll first need to dismantle one of the existing ones.

As a gamer in Monster Hunter Wilds, I’ve got two options to set up those handy Pop-up Camps:

1. Head over to the actual location of these camps and construct them using my Camping Kit.
2. Or, I can just pay a visit to Meowster, who hangs out at my Base Camp, and let him help me build one there.

And, if I ever need to demolish a Pop-up Camp, the process remains the same in Monster Hunter Wilds. Just remember, before I can use Meowster’s assistance, I should first explore the area to discover the camp location.

Furthermore, hazardous zones are frequently targeted for destruction by monsters. Nevertheless, these areas will naturally regenerate thanks to the Pop-up Camp Purrofessional, who is always stationed near your camp. You can expedite this recovery by interacting with the Purrofessional and using some of your Guild Points.
