After several weeks since the 36-year-old began her new relationship with tech CEO Adam Edmunds, she shared the story of their first encounter with her late husband Stephen “tWitch” Boss and their three children – Weslie (age 16), Maddox (age 8), and Zaia (age 4).
According to Holker, speaking on September 26th to People, the team’s trip to Universal Studios was truly enjoyable. We all laughed a lot, created numerous memories, and it turned out to be an excellent way to kick things off.
She added, “It was really cool. We were having a lot of fun together.”
Her eldest child, Weslie, expressed her thoughts on her mother’s fresh romance as well. She mentioned, “There’s always something exciting happening whenever Edmunds is present since they have such a great time together.
The teenager explained that there wasn’t a particularly memorable moment when they first met their mother’s boyfriend. Instead, they simply met and found him to be a nice person. They expressed liking him and, as long as their mother is content, they have no issues with the situation.
At the September 7th alice + olivia fashion show during New York Fashion Week, Holker revealed that it was her friend Weslie who encouraged her to start dating again after the passing of Boss in December 2022.
She shared, “I owe gratitude for something that made my heart more open, and that’s where Weslie comes in. It was really Weslie who encouraged me to let down my guard and allow myself to open up to someone else. Her words gave me the courage to embrace vulnerability and find love once more, making her a significant aid in this journey.
However, although she has resumed dating, she has emphasized to all her suitors, including Edmunds, that her children are her top priority.
Holker emphasized that he prioritizes their safety and well-being above all else, ensuring they feel secure and protected at all times. He also mentioned that Weslie motivated him to persevere.
As the upcoming phase in their family life promises novelty and thrill, Holker acknowledged that they are yet to figure out its specifics and determine what suits them optimally as a family unit.
She mentioned that we’re all exploring this novel path jointly. As a result, everyone is remarkably understanding, kind, and encouraging throughout this process.
Previously on “So You Think You Can Dance”, the former dancer expressed her wish that others understand she isn’t trying to substitute or delete the unique bond she had with her late husband, who passed away due to suicide after nine years of marriage.
She shared with People magazine on September 23 that she had a truly wonderful love with Stephen and continues to have the same for him. However, the lessons from that relationship have only made her better prepared for future loves. She feels readied now for this next phase in her life, this new chapter with her new, equally beautiful partner, Adam.
