Amanda Kloots’ son Elvis is the spitting image of his late dad Nick Cordero.
In a series of photos posted to the ex-star of The Talk’s Instagram Stories on April 17, it’s striking how much their 5-year-old son resembles his late father who passed away in 2020 due to COVID-19 complications – the similarity is remarkably strong.
And though the photos spoke for themselves, she added a simple, “I mean…”
In March 2020, when Nick was admitted to the hospital emergency room, Elvis was only six months old. At first, he was thought to have pneumonia, but as his condition worsened, doctors found out that he actually had COVID-19, which was later confirmed as the Broadway star’s illness.
Over the ensuing months, Nick’s health situation worsened significantly. Throughout his challenging health struggle, Amanda remained steadfastly optimistic and hopeful, always by his side. However, just over three months following his hospitalization, her husband—married in 2017—sadly passed away on July 5 at the young age of 41.
In a touching tribute on Instagram, Amanda, aged 43, shared that another angel has joined the heavens following Nick’s passing. She wrote this message hours after his death, explaining that her cherished husband peacefully departed from this world this morning, surrounded by love from family as they sang and prayed together.
She went on, expressing her shock and pain all over. “My heart is shattered, struggling to comprehend life without him,” she said. “Nick was like a beacon of light, cherished by many. He had an ear for conversation, a heart for helping, and a knack for talking. An exceptional actor, musician, he was also an incredible family man, loving his role as a father and husband. Elvis and I will deeply miss him in every aspect of our lives, each day.
Three years after his demise, on the anniversary of her husband’s passing, the fitness expert encouraged close friends and relatives to post “what they cherished most about him” in a poignant message expressing her sorrow.
Some conveyed to her that “He gave you the impression that you were his sole focus,” while others recollected the sincerity within him and how being near him stirred an urge to delve deeper in order to strive for personal improvement as a person, companion, and creative soul.
But for Amanda, there was no end to the list of things she adored about her husband.
As a lifestyle expert, I’d rephrase it as follows: “Even though he is no longer physically with us, his spirit continues to resonate strongly within me, and I believe many others who knew him share this sentiment. He left an indelible mark on everyone he encountered, but especially those he held dear.
She went on to say, “There isn’t anything I long for more than him in this whole universe,” emphasizing her deep affection. “His ability to make me feel secure and cherished in his embrace was truly unique. It’s a rare gift to bestow such feelings upon someone. He was an extraordinary man with an exceptionally large heart.
