As a seasoned gamer with countless hours spent navigating the gritty streets of Kamurocho and Yokohama, I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming Amazon Prime series, “Like a Dragon: Yakuza.” Having played through every installment of this iconic game franchise, I’ve come to know Kazuma Kiryu as an indomitable spirit, a man whose life has been intertwined with the Japanese underworld.
For enthusiasts of “Like a Dragon”, there’s always plenty to anticipate, and until now, that excitement has primarily been confined to the realm of games. However, this is about to change as Amazon Prime prepares to debut “Like a Dragon: Yakuza”. Before the limited series adaptation’s premiere, another new trailer has been revealed.
The game “Like a Dragon: Yakuza” will be divided into two different time periods – 1995 and 2005. In 1995, we’ll follow Kazuma Kiryu as he unwillingly becomes entangled in the Japanese criminal world. Fast forward to 2005, and Kiryu is released from prison after serving a long sentence.

The action-adventure game titled “Like a Dragon: Yakuza” is scheduled for release on October 24. The initial trio of episodes will debut simultaneously, followed by the subsequent three episodes being released on a weekly basis thereafter.
