Oh, joy of joys! As someone who grew up with the pixels and beeps of the 80s and 90s, I can’t help but feel a surge of nostalgia at the news that Secret Level is coming back for another round. From my days chasing ghosts in Pac-Man to my more recent struggles in Sifu, this series has always been a delightful tribute to the world of video games.
Secret Level, the animated video game anthology series, is getting a second season.
The program has been incredibly successful on Amazon, earning the distinction as the largest premiere for a brand-new animated series. Given this achievement, it’s reasonable that they would approve additional episodes to be produced.
The series presents episodes that draw inspiration from various video game franchises such as Pac-Man, Sifu, Spelunky, and the unsuccessful Concord. Some well-known figures from the PlayStation world make an appearance in the last episode of the show.
As a dedicated gamer, I’m eagerly waiting for Season 2 updates, though at this moment, there isn’t much to share. However, my guess is we’ll delve into unexplored territories of new games, and perhaps revisit some captivating worlds from the first season. But remember, it might still be quite a while before we get our hands on it.
