She expressed, “Over the past seven years, I’ve had the privilege of portraying no less than seven distinct characters. As an actor, this is incredibly stimulating and exhilarating! It keeps the audience guessing, as they’re not tied to any one specific role I play. This versatility has granted me a great deal of career adaptability.
I, a dedicated fan and player in this game called life, have been a consistent cast member for ten seasons on the chilling saga known as American Horror Story, starting back in 2011 with the spine-tingling Murder House. However, there are three seasons where I’ve taken a break: Season 9 – 1984, Season 11 – NYC, and Season 12 – Delicate.
She expressed that she isn’t rejecting the idea, but she has concerns about potential exhaustion from continuing in the same role for so long. She suggested that others might enjoy taking on those energetic activities for a while and that her body, particularly her nervous system, could use some rest now. A younger version of herself was eager to keep going, but she feels tired now.
If Paulson makes a comeback to American Horror Story faster than expected, it’s possible she could appear in Season 13. At the moment, details about the upcoming season of this horror anthology series are scarce – though Ryan Murphy hinted recently that the highly anticipated thirteenth season might arrive sooner than fans anticipate. Furthermore, he mentioned conversations with both Paulson and another regular star on American Horror Story, Evan Peters.

Paulson mentioned that she would welcome the opportunity to collaborate with Peters once more, hinting strongly at a potential comeback for Season 13 on Good Morning America.
She mentioned that if given the opportunity to work again with both Evan Peters and Ryan Murphy, she’d have no trouble telling when she would show up, as she’d certainly make an appearance at that time.
