The gaming hub dedicated to Toaplan games, which was unveiled in September 2023, can now be downloaded for free on iOS from the App Store and Android via Google Play, as announced by Tatsujin. This platform offers the classic shoot ’em up game Truxton free of charge, along with the opportunity to purchase an additional 24 Toaplan games.

Truxton and other classics!
Back in the ’80s and ’90s, Toaplan was a renowned developer of arcade games, significantly impacting the shoot ’em up genre. In the game “Amusement Arcade Toaplan“, you can immerse yourself in their timeless classics and even create your own arcade by customizing it with cabinets and various other items!
The Toaplan Amusement Center offers the original version of Truxton, along with other classic games, which can be acquired within the app. In all, there are 25 classic Toaplan titles, ranging from legendary shoot ’em ups to platform action, racing, and beat ’em ups. These include both Japanese and international versions of the games. By using different filters, you can replicate the arcade experience, and each game offers settings for difficulty, lives, invincibility, and more, ensuring that the control of your base is entirely in your hands!
The games offer adjustable, personalized control options either through built-in controls or by linking external gamepads. For a true arcade experience, you can also use an external Bluetooth arcade stick.
