Amy Dowden “feeling much better” after going to hospital following Saturday’s Strictly

As a long-time Strictly Come Dancing enthusiast who has witnessed countless hours of sequins, sparkles, and showstopping performances, I must say that the news about Amy Dowden‘s recent hospitalization has left me feeling a tad worried. Having followed her inspiring journey back to the dancefloor after battling breast cancer, it’s clear that she is more than just a dancer – she’s a beacon of resilience and determination.

On the night of October 26th, after experiencing illness, Amy Dowden from Strictly Come Dancing had to go to the hospital.

As reported by the representative of the dancer partnered with JB Gill on this year’s series, there was a call for an ambulance at Elstree Studios. However, she is currently feeling significantly improved.

Amy wasn’t feeling well, so it was decided to call an ambulance out of caution, according to her representative’s statement. She’s currently feeling much improved and wants to express her gratitude to the Strictly family for their caring thoughts.

“We request Amy’s privacy in matters of health is kindly respected.”

A representative from the East of England Ambulance Service confirmed to The Sun that they responded to a call about a “medical crisis” around 9 PM on Saturday. They transported an adult woman to the hospital for additional treatment.

This year, Dowden came back to the popular BBC dance competition show following a one-year absence caused by her battle with stage 3 breast cancer, including chemotherapy treatments and additional health issues.

During her initial return to the Strictly dance floor, she received a standing ovation. Lead judge Shirley Ballas remarked, “Amy, it’s clear you’ve found your rightful place here. I must admit, that routine was nothing short of exceptional.

Given his status as a top-tier ballroom and Latin American dance pro in the U.K., it’s clear that viewers were eagerly anticipating Dowden’s comeback on Strictly.

Previously discussed was her return to the series following a year’s absence. Dowden found this experience “remarkably strange” or “incredibly odd”.

She shared that she’ll always remember the first time she watched Natasha Kaplinsky win from home, as it was a unique spectacle she hadn’t seen on television before.

Back then, I used to dance my way to Blackpool frequently, but watching it on television had its own magic. Now, being involved in the anniversary event seems almost unreal. I believe this will be an authentic and exciting tribute to the series.

Strictly Come Dancing continues at 7:20pm tonight (27th October).
