In April, the second and concluding season of “Andor” will debut on Disney+. This series follows an unusual release pattern where three episodes are unveiled weekly over a span of four weeks. It has been confirmed that after wrapping up “Andor”, director Tony Gilroy is planning to depart from the Star Wars universe to explore other projects.
Although Gilroy has contributed significantly to the Jason Bourne series and directed the Academy Award-nominated film Michael Clayton, these projects don’t compare to the scale of working on a Star Wars project.
