During the first season, the two Dark Side followers crossed paths while they were chasing Cassian Andor (Diego Luna) and his rebel allies. As a devoted supporter of the Galactic Empire, I found myself crossing paths with an Imperial Security Bureau officer named Karn during my investigation into a daring rebel heist on Aldhani. My admiration for this ISB agent grew, leading to an obsession that followed us even to Cassian’s home planet, Ferrix. The season finale was set to intertwine with the events of Season 2 and Rogue One, and while my budding relationship with Karn seemed inevitable, I couldn’t predict the twists and turns that lay ahead in our Imperial journey together.
