Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt’s Daughter Vivienne Lands New Musical Job

As I delve into the fascinating life of Angelina Jolie and her remarkable brood, I can’t help but marvel at the unique blend of talent, ambition, and love that permeates their every action. Each child seems to have a distinct personality and passion, reflecting their individual journeys and experiences.

As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled to share that Vivienne, the cherished daughter of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, is embarking on an exciting new phase in her burgeoning theatrical journey.

17-year-old observed assisting during the reunion concert of “Reefer Madness: The Musical” in Los Angeles on July 30, guiding attendees to their seats and conversing with fellow workers, as reported by People magazine.

Two months have passed since Vivienne and her mother went to the premiere, which was graced by the presence of Kristen Bell. She had a major role in the New York version and is now overseeing the Los Angeles production’s revival.

Vivienne isn’t new to the world of the stage, as it turns out; she has a deep affection for theater, as her mother, Angelina, shared.

The Academy Award-winning actress, who is a mother to Maddox (age 22), Pax (age 20), Zahara (age 16), Shiloh (age 18), and Knox (age 15) with her former partner, expressed in an interview with Deadline in June that she has a deep appreciation for theater, but also knows very well what resonates and feels meaningful to her.

Indeed, Vivienne attended the West Coast production of “The Outsiders” roughly five times, as Angelina mentioned. This sparked the teen’s persuasion for Vivienne to become a producer when the show moved to Broadway.

On The Outsider‘s playbill, her daughter is credited as “Vivienne Jolie,” a producer assistant.

Angelina expressed that the stage performance offered her a unique insight into its impact on a young audience member at present, and she was picking up on something profound about the material. She added that she had the opportunity to observe the team’s dedication in shaping it over the past year, with Vivienne being an integral part of the process throughout.

More recently, the mother and daughter went to the 2024 Tonys together, and there The Outsiders musical triumphed with a total of four awards, one of which was the award for Best Musical.

In a statement to TopMob News, Angelina once mentioned that Viv is similar to her mother, Marcheline Berchard, in that she doesn’t seek the spotlight but instead provides support to other artists. Angelina praised Viv for being thoughtful and dedicated to theater, always striving to contribute effectively.

More recently, the pairing of mother and daughter made an appearance at the 2024 Tonys jointly, where “The Outsiders” musical triumphed by earning four accolades, among them the award for Best Musical.

In my perspective, Viv evokes the spirit of my beloved mother, Marcheline Berchard, as she prioritizes providing support to other creative minds instead of seeking the limelight. As I shared with TopMob News in a statement, she possesses a remarkable quality of thoughtfulness and unwavering dedication towards theater, always striving to fully comprehend her role in collaborative efforts.

After developing a deep affection for Cambodia during the filming of the 2001 movie “Tomb Raider,” Angelina Jolie made a trip to an orphanage located in Battambang, a rural town, with the intention of adopting her first child.

She didn’t sense a connection with any of them, but that changed when she encountered Maddox (born on August 5, 2001), hanging in a box from the ceiling. Overwhelmed by this immediate bond, she admitted to crying profusely.

When the 26-year-old woman had already legally adopted her oldest son on her own, she later started dating Brad Pitt. Subsequently, Brad chose to initiate the adoption process for the same child too.

Due to a fascination with his mother’s profession, when Angelina directed the 2017 film “First They Killed My Father“, which was an adaptation of her friend Loung Ung’s book about the Cambodian genocide under the Khmer Rouge regime, Maddox chose to participate as an executive producer. In his own words to People, he explained, “I was trying to lend a hand wherever I could.” Regarding his manager, that is, his mom, he described her as “fun, humorous, and a joy to work with,” adding, “She’s amazing.”

Following his biochemistry education at Yonsei University in South Korea, a decision that made his mother incredibly proud, Maddox found himself invited to the White House for a state dinner in April 2023. This occasion was graced by President Joe Biden and First Lady Dr. Jill Biden, who were hosting South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol and his wife, First Lady Kim Keon Hee.

I was born on November 29, 2003. For the first three and a half years of my life, I lived in a single room, in one location, which was an orphanage just beyond Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. There, in an iron bed shared with twenty other children, I had no personal choices, no independence, and no freedom. This is what Angelina shared with MSN in 2007 about my early life experiences.

In the company of my little brother Maddox, along with his sisters Zahara and Shiloh, I find myself in an unexpectedly liberating environment surrounded by new siblings, parents, and me. He’s been immersed in the English language and is such a loving, spirited child, full of energy due to his newfound freedom. He can be quite wild and mischievous at times, but oh, what a resilient and remarkable little person he is.

Enthused about the family business, Pax lent his voice to the character Yoo in Angelina’s 2016 animated film “Kung Fu Panda 3” and also worked as a set photographer on “First They Killed My Father”. Later, he accompanied his mom to the 2018 Golden Globes.

As a devoted follower, I too contributed to the aesthetic appeal of Atelier Jolie, a vibrant fashion collective and tailoring enterprise founded by Angelina in New York City. Additionally, I found myself immersed in the assistant director department on the Italian production set of her forthcoming film titled “Without Blood.”

In her interview with People, Angelina described the experience of collaborating with Pax and Maddox as follows: “When a film team is operating at its peak, it’s reminiscent of a large, close-knit family, which made the process feel completely organic.”

At the age of three, Maddox joined Angelina as they visited an orphanage in Hawassa, Ethiopia, where their eldest daughter Zahara, born on January 8, 2005, resided. The actress later shared with Anderson Cooper that Maddox adores Zahara. “For Madd, it’s like having a tiny pet he can hold and gaze at,” she said, as Zahara was older when they brought her home, being seven months old at the time.”

Just like her siblings, Zahara shows a keen interest in all aspects of her mother’s professional life. She’s walked red carpets, launched a charitable jewelry line, the Zahara Collection, alongside jeweler Robert Procop in 2019, and joined her mother on trips to Syrian refugee camps as part of their work with the UNHCR.

In August of 2022, Angelina felt emotional as she dropped off Zahara at Atlanta’s Spelman College (she mentioned in an Instagram post that she hadn’t cried yet, but hoped to keep it together). Later on, she went back for the homecoming celebrations at this Historically Black College and University (HBCU).

In 2023, Zahara became a member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority at her school. Not only that, but she has traveled with an actress on multiple occasions to Washington, D.C. She stood beside Angelina during her emotional speech in favor of renewing the Violence Against Women Act in February 2022 and again when they lobbied legislators for the approval of the Justice for All Reauthorization Act of 2022 a year later.

Approximately several months following the announcement of her pregnancy, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt became parents to Shiloh on May 27, 2006, at Cottage Hospital in Swakopmund, Namibia. In an interview with MSN, Angelina described Shiloh as a beacon of light and love, a sweet little being, and extremely amusing. She also mentioned that she sees some of her own traits in Shiloh – hinting that she might cause a bit of trouble!

At her first public appearance at the premiere of Unbroken in 2014, Shiloh subsequently attended events for Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, The Breadwinner, Dumbo, and the 2018 National Board of Review Awards Gala, as well as the red carpet event for Eternals in 2021 where she donned her mother’s Dior dress.

Angelina expressed on Daily Pop at TopMob, “Wow, you should really give those clothes a try! Go ahead and wear them even better than me. They belong to you now.” She admitted, “I’m the kind of mom who encourages my kids to take whatever they like from my closet.”

Apart from expressing curiosity about Angelina’s charitable work, it appears that Shiloh has also dabbled in the world of entertainment, frequently visiting the Millennium Dance Complex in Los Angeles.

Turning 18 in the year 2024, Shiloh Jolie-Pitt chose to petition a court in Los Angeles for the legal removal of the “Pitt” part from her surname, opting to be recognized as Shiloh Nouvel Jolie. According to information obtained by TopMob News, Shiloh has retained personal legal representation and covered the costs herself.

At the 2008 Independent Spirit Awards, Angelina Jolie first revealed her pregnancy. Later in Nice, France on July 12, 2008, she gave birth to two children – Knox and his sister Vivienne. The family then moved into their Château Miraval. Speaking to People magazine shortly after, Angelina shared that life was chaotic but enjoyable, stating, “It’s chaos, but we are handling it well.” She also mentioned that Shiloh and Zahara enjoyed picking out the twins’ clothes and helping with their care.

Mentioning the namesake of Brad’s grandfather, Hal Knox Hillhouse, Angelina pointed out that “Knox shares many similarities with Brad, both emotionally and physically.” This was quite evident as they both looked remarkably alike during their appearance at the 2015 British motorcycle Grand Prix.

Similarly to their older siblings Pax, Zahara, and Shiloh, Knox also made a minor appearance in the 2016 film “Kung Fu Panda 3” by providing the voice for Ku Ku. As Jolie shared with ET, “They were somewhat reserved,” suggesting they aren’t particularly interested in acting. However, Jolie didn’t want them to miss out on the opportunity. They joined in, and they truly enjoyed the experience.

In a statement given to TopMob News, Angelina said of Knox’s younger-by-a-minute fraternal twin (Marcheline Bertrand’s other child), “She’s similar to my mother in that she’s not seeking the spotlight but instead is dedicated to supporting other artists.” Angelina added, “She’s very considerate and committed to theatre, working diligently to find her unique contribution.”

Despite excelling impressively as a younger version of Elle Fanning’s Aurora in 2014’s Maleficent, earning praise from Angelina Jolie herself (“I was genuinely surprised by how well she was doing; she even went back to hit her mark! It’s terrifying,” Jolie commented at the time), this high schooler has since found a preference for roles behind the scenes.

Angelina mentioned that Vivienne motivated her to adapt Francis Ford Coppola’s 1983 movie “The Outsiders” for Broadway, which eventually led the teenager to assist her mother (who won a Tony) in a production capacity.

Angelina shared with People that Vivienne, who is listed as Vivienne Jolie in the playbill, will correct me. She’ll remind me, ‘Haven’t you seen the memo? We need to do this, we must go through this,’ Angelina explained. Vivienne has been a very demanding assistant, she approaches her responsibilities with great seriousness.
