For Anna Faris, “Mom” isn’t just a role she played on TV.
At home, a 48-year-old woman plays the role of mother to her son Jack, whom she co-parents with her ex-husband Chris Pratt. As Jack has grown into a preteen, their bond has naturally developed further.
Anna mentioned during an exclusive interview with TopMob News that when her son asks for advice or shows trust in her, she feels a surge of emotional appreciation and assurance that her efforts as a parent are on the right track.
After all, motherhood doesn’t come with a playbook.
In their role as parents, they often find themselves questioning, “Are we making the right choices? Are we providing solid guidance? Are we setting a strong foundation for our children?” This is how the actress from The House Bunny put it. So when Jack seeks her advice, it gives her confidence, like saying, “Yes, I’m on the right track here.” And she feels incredibly proud of him.
Never had she felt more proud than when witnessing Jack skillfully maneuver through the wreckage caused by the Los Angeles wildfires, an event that also claimed their home.
She remarked, “His response to our house burning down has shown such resilience and level-headedness. This demonstrates not only his strength but also his ability to remain calm in difficult situations.
It’s clear that Anna is doing a great job with parenting, given that she mentioned their diverse upbringings.
She humorously noted that she didn’t have a glamorous upbringing in Hollywood, instead spending her childhood cleaning bathrooms. This is why she appreciates products such as Scrubbing Bubbles’ Easy Clean line so much. “As a child, I was responsible for cleaning the bathroom. My mom was extremely clean, but I wasn’t at all. I remember using an old toothbrush to clean around the toilet – that was my chore. So, I’ve been relying on Scrubbing Bubbles for quite some time.
Since Scrubbing Bubbles makes household tasks effortless, when she’s not busy working on new ventures (like she is currently in Australia for the upcoming movie “Spa Weekend”), Anna mentions that Jack enjoys watching her past films during their leisure time.
She disclosed that he has a strong fondness for both “The House Bunny” and “Just Friends,” as well as animated productions.
Anna laughed, “It seems I’m not the one who makes him watch my work, but he does. Yet, I believe he’s very proud of me and has grown accustomed to seeing his mother act a little foolishly.
